Only good to say about their food! Really tasty curries! Maybe not the greatest service on earth, but OK for to go!

It used to be the benchmark Indian buffet with a lavish spread of 30/35 dishes but now it has been reduced to just another buffet and that also not of a very good quality. The number of dishes have been reduced and this time I didn't find a single dish which would satisfy my taste buds. It needs improvement before... More

I'm Indian, and I'll admit, it's hard for Indian restaurants to satisfy my standards. Bombay Garden passes the test. This is not your mother's home cooking, for sure, but the availability of the buffet with a wide selection makes it easy to find something you'll like. The best item is undoubtedly the goat curry.

Went on a Sunday Night for a dinner. Good part is that buffet is available even in the evenings. The atmosphere is really good for couples, families, friends etc... The number of food items in the buffet is lot. You may not be able to complete all of them. so, you can try to get your money's worth if you... More

Just when I thought my week couldn't be worse than it had been, my friend, Maurine, and I thought we'd treat ourselves to some Indian food at Bombay Garden in Santa Clara, California. We have been working hard to clear out my late parents' house, so we were too tired to go home and cook. I was still shaken up... More

I think it was temporary amnesia that made me go back to this place. I also wonder why people keep thronging to this place. The service is pathetic . There might be enough variety of average tasting food at a reasonable price ,but that is no reason to put up with the rudeness by the elderly sikh gentleman who runs... More

We went yesterday to have dinner. We chose to go for Mini Dinner Buffet. There were just few items in the Menu. The food was left over and beyond stale, they didn't even bother to heat it up.We couldn't eat a couple of bite. They don't tell you before hand that, that the CRAP they are serving is $14.99 per person. We... More

The service does not deserve even 1 star. The people who gave 3 or more stars have no concept of quality in service or that of food. They are arrogant -- and rude, and have no concept of service-- they think they are doing a favor to the customers. The spoon/bowls are not available half the time. The tables are... More

This is a pretty big setup and they have a party hall as well. They pretty much have the same menu all year through - I am not exaggerating - for the afternoon buffet. A la Carte menu has some good selections though. Food is good but not great. Not spicy - so good for people that cannot take spicy... More

We had their buffet dinner yesterday. They have a good selection of veg and non veg items in the buffet and you won't feel that there should have been more variety. All dishes are core Indian dishes and look wise they definitely remind us on India. Taste? not so real Indian... Food looks adapted to the culture here and doesn't... More
