Crab stuffed Salmon with artichokes is my absolute favorite. Sooooooooo delicious and cooked to perfection every time. My husband loves the Cioppino. Great food here, can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Good place for a family meal. Good food, reasonable portions and reasonable prices. Not fancy, but good Italian seafood. We are regulars, and will continue to be.

We went down to By the Bucket Bar and Grill in Santa Clara 545pm across the street from Stevens Creek Auto row on a Sunday evening with NFL football playing. Little did we know that there would be a half hour wait, as there was one holiday party of 35, this holiday season before Christmas. At least they had a... More

Every time my husband I i drive up north, we frequent our favorite restaurants. By Th' Bucket is a very unpretentious restaurant compared to Palm Desert and Rancho Mirage, but the bread, appetizers, and entrees are great!!! The halibut and salmon entrees are out of this world. It must be a favorite of locals since it is always busy!!! Again,... More

Once Mike gave up the restaurant, it of course changed. You can't even get a burger for dinner. But then I liked the old hole in the wall it used to be before it up-scaled. I wish they would bring back the old sour dough bread. We used to go there once a week, now maybe twice a year. Usually... More

By-Th'-Bucket was recommended to my mother and me by some local shopkeepers. When we drove up, the restaurant didn't look like anything special, but the food we had that evening was phenomenal! We shared the Crab-Stuffed mushrooms, Garlic-roasted Prawns, Ahi Carpaccio (which is more like a seared Ahi), and a mix of cheese and meat ravioli. I loved the fact... More

I attended a baptism reception at "By the Bucket" a few weeks ago. It was more of a brewery/sports club atmosphere upstairs, but down in the basement they have a private room with area for 4 to 6 tables and a lovely mural on the wall. It wasn't terrible food but I've had better ~ I had salad, salmon and... More

This used to be our family's pizza place growing up in Santa Clara, but once it changed owners, they stopped offering pizza take out. Now I come here for the catfish, which can be ordered in several different ways, but it is always delicious.

We have been going to this restaurant for many years and always find it comfortable and welcoming. It is a busy place, and we rarely go without reservations. To offset the price, look for their "early bird special" coupons in the paper, good until 6:30. As long as you are in the restaurant before 6:30 and signed in, they will... More

The cool guys from MINI Cooper made this suggestion. It was excellent food, I have the blackened salmon (attaching pic) it was a good experience but with tip a $58.00 lunch for two. However that did Include one glass of wine.
