First, this place is not family friendly. The tables are so close together that you can hardly get to your table. However, the place is elegant. Every table has a waiter, a server and a busboy. I am frequently in Santa Clara and I almost always visit this restaurant located in Mariott. The menu is changing every time and it is always perfect. Wines are very good as well as a fabulous port wine to finish your meal :)

Very loud and busy is the downside. Televisions all over the wall with different sports programmes (ice hockey, football and so on).

Enjoyed a cocktail in the lounge. The temperature of the hotel and lounge is quite cold. Dress warmly! The drinks were generous but expensive. This is a nice restaurant with very attentive staff. Good breakfast buffet with quite extensive selections. It's on the pricey side if the cost is not included with your room price.

They were crowded and we sat in the open area. The staff seemed a bit overextended and while the food was very tasty, it seemed a bit pricey.

Arrived 20 minutes before the buffet was to end, they said it would be okay to dine, we only made one trip to the bar, and they were rushing us so much I should have asked for a doggy bag! Disappointed.

Visited at the end of March 2015 with my wife. Great high-dining experience, especially in this part of Santa clara.
