I had a terrible experience at cherry sushi today. I went there a couple of times but after today i will never go there again. Usually they will serve you a complimentary bowl of miso soup when you arrive. When we came today and asked about it , the waitress said " we can but we dont have to ".... More

Cherry Sushi is one of at least a half dozen Japanese restaurants within a couple of blocks along El Camino Real. I've eaten there three or four times over the past year. Their food is alright but I prefer some of the other restaurants. They have a kind of spaghetti as a side dish, which strikes me as a bit... More

great place to kick back and enjoy some sushi. very unassuming and food was very good. Room isn't much for atmosphere but good company can make up for that.

Sushi is great! We order 2 sets if Queen combo for 7 persons, 200USD each. Wasabi is fresh! I was surprised by the Sea Urchin! You can only have 2 little pieces, but in Cherry Sushi, you got 3-4 pcs! It tastes really good! Seaweed is crunchy, you find it's difficult to bite the seaweed us other restaurant! Here, you... More

A friend of mine accompanied me recently to this stylish Japanese restaurant - we lost our favorite place in Sunnyvale, so we wanted to try out Cherry Sushi again. The food was very nice (we had a Bento Box with two items); the cost is a little higher than we are used to, but the ingredients were quite delicious. The... More

I really like Sashimi, Dragon, Rainbow and Eel roll that my daughter order. Their menu is very expansive.

Cherry's lunch special is better quality and price than many other restaurants. You pick 2 options and also get miso soup and salad. I chose spicy chicken and sashimi, which included 2 generous pieces each of tuna and salmon. The fish was very fresh and the chicken dish was delicious (so much better than the ubiquitous teriyaki). In fact, there... More

One of the most challenging parts of moving to a new home is finding local resources for food, shopping, services, and restaurants. It's been six years since we moved from Chicago to Santa Cruz, CA, and we're still looking for and finding them. Our favorite for sushi in Chicago was a neighborhood place run by Koreans -- the sushi was... More

This is one of our family's regular haunts for weekend dinners. Getting a table is fairly easy usually. They have a back dining area, so plenty of tables. This is a Korean-run Japanese restaurants but still very good. Their rolls are good, try the Dragon. My favourite dish is the beef sukiyaki, a beef soup dish with vegetables. 2- or... More
