Lily's Taqueria as it should be referred to, ranked pretty high on the Y site, so I decided to try it when I was in the State St area. I came on a Saturday and was fortunate to get a parking space (90 minutes). They only serve tacos but they have a lot of choices. At $1.60, it's a good... More

I travel to Mexico fairly frequently and have eaten at the best taco joints from the Yucatan to the west coast. These are as good as tacos get with one exception, they don't do tacos pastor on the rotating spit. Would definitely go again.

This is the real deal. Yummy tacos with great homemade salsa and tortillas. Don't miss the chance to have real street tacos.

Found this little "hole in the wall" on-line. The line to place orders was out the door. We talked to some locals in line who said these were the best tacos in town. They weren't kidding. Affordable, more importantly, delicious. We had not been to Santa Barbara before and we were pleased with our choice for lunch. A must try... More

All I can say is: beef cheek tacos. Divine. This is a very informal beach taco joint. Décor is very minimal but the tacos are terrific. They come largely unadorned, just meat and yummy tortillas. A salsa/toppings bar allows you to add any number of delicious items like cilantro, salsa, onions, radishes, etc. An inexpensive and delicious treat!

Lily's is authentic but unadorned food. The menu has taco's only, both standard and less common to the American palette (such as beef eyeball). The tacos are small, and it takes about 4 to fill a normal appetite. At $1.60 each, it's still a bargain. The tacos are totally unadorned- no condiments or cheese. A salsa bar helps, but it... More

we had spent an hour on Monday night queuing outside La Super Rica Taqueria, which was amazing (also reviewed) and so it was a blessed relief that Lilly's queue was quick. The choice of dishes is not as extensive as at La Super Rica and that is what makes it proper "fast food". We had so many tacos of every... More

Found this on TripAdvisor and ended our SB/Goleta shopping day here. Great tacos - 3 were enough for me. Got three different kinds - pork, asada & pollo. They serve tacos. Only tacos. Great tacos.

If there is one place in SB that you must eat at it is Lillys. Nothing fancy but it is top in flavor. They are slinging out the best street tacos you have ever tried. The menu changes regularly depending on the fresh ingredients they are able to acquire. The pork tacos are my favorite.
