While visiting we biked about town and on the beach path. We purposefully sought out Habit. We smelled the grilled aroma a block away as we approached. The hamburgers lived up to their reputation. It is not a large place but it seemed to move the customers quickly. The outdoor patio seemed to be popular.

Got here right at closing time, but the service was fast and friendly. One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Good portion of frys and my wife's sundae was big also. Prices aren't bad either.

The Habit is one of the best eating deals in Santa Barbara where everything seems to be very expensive. The quality of food is very good and the prices are reasonable. There are several locations so it is convenient also.

I found the food to be very good and at a fair price. The burger was done and juicey, the French fries were of a good quality and piping hot and the onion rings are some of the best I've ever had!! The Cob salad is large and very good and filling.I've been there twice now ,had full meals and spent... More

The 2 girls behind the counter at registers sat there talking for 5 minutes while I waited to order. Finally a 3rd girl came out from behind the counter and offered to take my order. If anybody had greeted me or said they'd be right with me before that 3rd person came their rating would have been higer. I love... More

Never tire when in a hurry and these juicy options make all happy. I particularly enjoy the the tuna melt, haven't had it as good elsewhere.

you might have a hard time finding parking, but if you want a great burger go to the Habit. Its worth trying to find parking. We visited both locations while in Santa Barbara and were not disappointed. Affordable and Good Eats!

So this is really not a five star restaurant, but it was a five star fast food experience. We were staying at the East Beach Inn and looking for a place to eat dinner nearby. We were planning to head down to the pier when we stopped for gas and saw Habit across the street. The cashier was super helpful... More

I had the teriyaki burger and it was super juicy and yummy. It tasted fresh and grilled. The French fries were crispy. The atmosphere was young and busy.

The lettuce wrap burger with avacado is my favorite thing and, unlike other places, they know how to do it so you don't have a disgusting mess all over your hands and lap. The lettuce is generous and keeps everything in place for a much healthier meal. Sweet potato fries are delicious and the rings are really good too. This... More
