We returned to this cafe, and had good egg dishes, but were disappointed to see the fine gluten-free options were missing. The excellent baker must have moved to another venue. Still a good eat, but not a stand-out.

This place is awesome, we over ordered and waddled out of this place but totally worth it. Huge selection on the breakfast menu, wanted to try everything. Everything we did try was super delicious. You may have to wait but it's totally worth it. We loved it so much we went to their sister cafe in Montecito the next morning.

once more, very friendly staff. My husband was so happy with the Kahlua Banana French toast that we went back for it the next day. The Kids had smilies on there pancakes and my samosa was gorgeous. If we didn't love so far away we'd eat there a lot.

Excellent cinnamon rolls. We followed with the breakfast burrito and banana French toast. Burrito was nicely presented but unseasoned chopped tomato filling made it a little bland. Side of guacamole was exquisite. They only have canned drinks, which was a disappointment for this fountain soda fan. French toast was bursting with flavor. The seating system is confusing and undocumented: ordering... More

My husband and I were visiting our son in SB recently and he took us to Jeannine's for brunch. We also took the family dog which is one of the things I liked about it. Summary: 1. Food: very tasty 2. Value: pricey but nice for a treat 3. Service: mostly self serve, but slow 4. Atmosphere: nice outdoor seating,... More

Expensive compared to other breakfast destinations but very nice. Did not like the queuing system to place orders line moved quickly and efficiently but would be better if table service. Food was very nice and good selection . Would return. I would like to have tried it for lunch. Staff friendly décor good.

Jeannine's is a tiny bit out of the way if you're visiting SB from all the action of the beaches and lower State Street. It might take you 15 minutes by car but it will be worth the trip for sure. I didn't try any of the cake or baked goods but they looked wonderful. I did sit down and... More

We made our minds up to have a good breakfast before hitting the road back to AZ, we picked the right place. Obviously a local favorite with the well heeled, not a Denny's thank goodness. Coffee was delicious and so was the salmon Benedict and of course fresh fruit. Cute little place just don't look in the pastry case, or... More

Healthy and delicious choices for breakfast, with a pet friendly outdoor patio. Friendly staff. Given the quality, expect it to be a bit crowded, especially on weekends.

Jeannine's, two blocks off State St., is airy, comfortable and laid back. It was just what I needed. Healthy California food and delicious-looking pastries. I lingered over my lunch with my Kindle and was left alone. I left replete and refreshed .
