McConnell's Ice Cream features classic and not so classic ice cream flavours served by the scoop or in containers. Between my husband and I, we shared the Peanut Butter Chocolate, Dulce de Leche Churro and Salted Caramel ice creams. Very decadent, super delicious and worth a walk out to try. It gave us enough energy to visit the Santa Barbara... More

Their ice cream is fantastic, a must stop if in the area. Yeah, and sometimes there's a long line, but it moves pretty quick. Their prices are not cheap, but that's ok because the ice cream is fabulous! The menu has a great selection to choose from.

Where ever I travel, ice cream is high on my priority list. This place is worth the wait. The cows are grass fed and you can taste the richness. I had the Key Lime Pie and Chocolate Covered Strawberries. If I had more days in Santa Barbara, I would try each flavor.

The graham crackers in milk yogurt is the best we've ever had, even though we were stuffed with 2 scoops of ice cream each, we still wanted to have it. They also have lots of flavours for you to choose from, and was told that their coffee ice cream are popular. Tried their salted caramel chip and chocolate strawberries -... More

I've been going here for the last thirty four years and the great thing is the ice cream tastes the same as it did back in 1980 when we first visited Santa Barbara - as in like real , fresh and creamy ice cream - no trans fats , no added air , no corporate tie-ins - just churned cream... More

Great ice cream with some very imaginative and delicious flavors like cinnamon, and Sumatran coffee. There is always a line out the door, but it moves quickly. Worth the detour!

This is the way ice cream should be, creamy, no air added. Large selection of favors. Great waffle cones. Reasonable prices. Two locations. Friendly service.

While eating ice cream isn't mind blowing anymore, a good chocolate ice cream is always good to have once in awhile....McConnell's gives you so many choices its hard to decide. I went with the Dark Chocolate Paso Brittle, and it was delicious, since I love anything chocolate. I'm sure I could say the same for the other flavors, but I... More

The line was out the door and for a good reason. They get people through there really fast but don't rush you when deciding on your flavors. The ice cream was really fresh, great taste and the scoops were huge. I ordered a double scoop and had trouble getting it all down. Great variety of flavors and great variety of... More
