Without a doubt they had the best carne asada we've ever had. After days of mainstream/fancy/new-wave and organic restaurants, this was the relief we needed!! Lito's will be a regular stop on future SB - area trips!!

My sister-in-law told me about this place, she knows we like trying Triple D places. Small place, get there early if you want a seat. Very friendly staff, we heard they were famous for Carnitas. The daily special was fish tacos and that's what we had. I couldn't believe how much grilled fish was in the tacos, double most restaurants.... More

We're driving from LA to Paso Robles. Based on the recommendation from DDD, we decided to make a quick stop for late lunch. Parking is street parking. We pull up around 2:30pm in front of the restaurant. The area was not crowded and traffic was light. The restaurant does not have any decor. Simply couple tables for dinning in. Nothing... More

Great place to have some simple, absolutely delicious tacos, burritos ... Stopover on our way up to Solvang and Paso Robles for a late lunch. Carnitas taco, yumm, soooo tasty, fish taco, equally tasty, nice firm fish , fresh made! Chicharron special - I expected crispy pork rind , but it was in a sauce, side of Spanish rice and... More

We were in Santa Barbara to look at colleges and jaycees for my grandson. His favorite food is Mexican and his favorite meal is breakfast. He had heard of Lito's, so we went for breakfast and were not disappointed. The menu has plenty of authentic Mexican dishes other than breakfast, but we were into burritos. They are huge and delicious.... More

Pretty bad take-out/sit-down food including the bland rice and beans, boring salad (just lettuce and tomatoes) and fried breaded shrimp that was out of the freezer section at a grocery store....yuk!($9) A grand disappointment after eating at Los Agaves a few blocks away.....which, for $3-4 more, the food was phenomenal. Sauce and chips were the only thing any good. Probably... More

This place has the best posole ever! The other menu items are okay. The place is small but comfy. We could actually smell the food from the vehicle as we approached the building! We had found this by searching for "dinner, drive through, and dives" in the area and will be back again in the future just for the posole.... More

We always search out good, authentic Mexican food on our travels, and overall this one was as authentic as you can get! My husband loves pozole soup and he said it was about the best he's ever had. The other two in our group had delicious burritos. My meal was a bit disappointing in that the pork in the tamale... More

The food was very good. Fresh ingredients and made with care. Verify their open hours before going. They were on triple D's. Nice family feel. The grandfather was on site making sure all was being done right.

Triple D showed this restaurant and it looked pretty amazing, it was close, and so we went. We were excited to be there, the locals obviously adore this place, and the food was . . . not bad. We had a few different dishes and honestly nothing really comes to mind about the food. The restaurant acted as a host... More
