Authentic and tasty food.

Finding an authentic Mexican restaurant that is very reasonable for delicious food and lots of Hispanic people eating there was really a great experience. Lots of people were taking out food, but there are a few tables where you can eat in the place. Beer is served, but that was it. The fish... read more

Went to Lito's right after they were closed for renovation and I must say it was a wait well worth it. The food was fantastic as was noted by the crowd that was there. The service was fast and friendly. Not many tables but since we were getting take out it did not matter.

The first restaurant I have been to in Santa Barbara. Nice joint. Very customer friendly. They have been really sweet to customize my order to make it vegetarian (lard-free and chicken broth-free). Very fresh salsas and tasty food. Been a Lito's loyalist since then. Lito's is so popular, I wish they had more seating area. We have been forced to... More

I moved from Santa Barbara 25 years ago and still get my 'Lito's' cravings. It is a must stop anytime i am in area, even if not hungry, as will at least grab some take out for later. The carnitas are the best on the central coast, and for me, the 'go to' is the carnitas torta. Friends who are... More

Without a doubt they had the best carne asada we've ever had. After days of mainstream/fancy/new-wave and organic restaurants, this was the relief we needed!! Lito's will be a regular stop on future SB - area trips!!

My sister-in-law told me about this place, she knows we like trying Triple D places. Small place, get there early if you want a seat. Very friendly staff, we heard they were famous for Carnitas. The daily special was fish tacos and that's what we had. I couldn't believe how much grilled fish was in the tacos, double most restaurants.... More

We're driving from LA to Paso Robles. Based on the recommendation from DDD, we decided to make a quick stop for late lunch. Parking is street parking. We pull up around 2:30pm in front of the restaurant. The area was not crowded and traffic was light. The restaurant does not have any decor. Simply couple tables for dinning in. Nothing... More

Great place to have some simple, absolutely delicious tacos, burritos ... Stopover on our way up to Solvang and Paso Robles for a late lunch. Carnitas taco, yumm, soooo tasty, fish taco, equally tasty, nice firm fish , fresh made! Chicharron special - I expected crispy pork rind , but it was in a sauce, side of Spanish rice and... More

We were in Santa Barbara to look at colleges and jaycees for my grandson. His favorite food is Mexican and his favorite meal is breakfast. He had heard of Lito's, so we went for breakfast and were not disappointed. The menu has plenty of authentic Mexican dishes other than breakfast, but we were into burritos. They are huge and delicious.... More

Pretty bad take-out/sit-down food including the bland rice and beans, boring salad (just lettuce and tomatoes) and fried breaded shrimp that was out of the freezer section at a grocery store....yuk!($9) A grand disappointment after eating at Los Agaves a few blocks away.....which, for $3-4 more, the food was phenomenal. Sauce and chips were the only thing any good. Probably... More
