We stumbled across this place after a quick drive around Santa Barbara. We generally love our ales and were delighted with the selection offered. The barmaid was very knowledgable and friendly and we ended up trying a few things out of our comfort zone! Warning - the hot as helles habenero ale is as spicy as it sounds! It was... More

Enjoyed a delicious dinner, outside on the patio. We tried a couple of their beers but I don't remember which ones (maybe Nirvana and West Beach) and both were good. The server was knowledgeable about the beers and food items and gave great recommendations. I had the grilled salmon with raspberry habanero sauce and capellini Alfredo. My mom had the... More

What a great place! Just about 5 mins from the Wharf, the Brewhouse offers so much. Typical States bar with its own brewery, great friendly service, vibrant atmosphere and the food that we had was so delicious. We both had the apricot beer which was so good and had the fillet steak and the beef stroganoff with risotto, couldn't fault it.... More

Went with hubby and two sons. Terrific sandwiches and the boys loved having the dogs welcome on the outside porch. We would go again.

We told the server when he brought our hamburgers that we needed ketchup and mustard. We waited ... and waited ... for any server to come by so we could repeat our request. We even asked the next table if we could use their bottle of ketchup. Unfortunately theirs was nearly empty. So I walked through the restaurant and spied... More

Good variety of beers on tap. During Happy Hour had 2 pints on tap for $7.00, Fish and Chips for $6.00, a lamb burger with french fries for $10.95,an 8 0z. River Barley for $3.50. Food OK, beer better. Outside seating, a casual, local feel. People here with their kids.

Varied menu but around an American theme really. Lots of choice of food and the beer menu is really special. The service is good, the prices reasonable and it's friendly with a very upbeat feel.
