I am mystified as to why this is the number one rated Thai food restaurant in Santa Barbara. My daughters and I were there on a Saturday night at 9:00 p.m.. The server seemed annoyed that she had to bring us menus. We ordered tom yum ka and a coconut curry. Instead of the expected explosion of flavor, the soup... More

Although dining alone on a Saturday evening, I was warmly welcomed to this small, intimate cafe on lower State Street. The red curry with chicken was excellent. It was well seasoned after the server diplomatically sought my preference: "If it usually very spicy. Would you like it milder, or can you handle it?" The portion initially looked small, but the... I came here for dinner while strolling through State Street and wasn't disappointed! Despite the café being pretty busy, I was seated right away and my drink order was taken right away. My server was friendly and courteous, as well as the other staff. I ordered their Chicken Fried Rice with some Thai Iced Tea. The entrée was hot, fresh,... More

So......I'm not sure what part of Thailand the owners are from but there is NO love in there food. We ordered Tom Yum and it was bland so much so that we needed to add salt.....yuck!! I've traveled all over... More

Party of 6, 4/6 gave great reviews; 2 of us thought it was good but not great. Best dish was the seafood platter in a light curry sauce. Nice marinated beef salad; Duck curry, pad see euw (sp?), pork larb salad were good enough but I've definitely had better. A nice item on the menu was fresh coconut - that... More

Gave Zenyai a try as it was close to my hotel. The food was good - I have eaten better and definitely a lot worse! The winner was the Pumpkin Curry, which was full of flavor and had chunks of chick and pumpkin squash. The spicy noodle was good - ordered very spicy and it was! Egg rolls were just... More
