Party of 6, 4/6 gave great reviews; 2 of us thought it was good but not great. Best dish was the seafood platter in a light curry sauce. Nice marinated beef salad; Duck curry, pad see euw (sp?), pork larb salad were good enough but I've definitely had better. A nice item on the menu was fresh coconut - that... More

Gave Zenyai a try as it was close to my hotel. The food was good - I have eaten better and definitely a lot worse! The winner was the Pumpkin Curry, which was full of flavor and had chunks of chick and pumpkin squash. The spicy noodle was good - ordered very spicy and it was! Egg rolls were just... More

Authentic Thai cuisine. Quick service, good quality food. Very large portions. Small restaurant and OK atmosphere. If looking for quality Thai food at reasonable prices, I would recommend this place.

The service, ambiance, and food were all exceptional. I have gone back each time I am in Santa Barbara.

Everything we had at this restaurant was excellent! Even those in our party who are not very adventurous gastronomically found something they liked. This is a very authentic Thai restaurant. I highly recommend you try this place!

I just love the pineapple curry with pork and the shrimp paste fried rice with a Thai ice tea. You get a small and very tasty salad as an appetizer and the remaining food comes out quickly. Be aware of the very spicy country curry. I am going here regularly for 6 years now and if I will ever move... More

Our son goes to college in SB and was missing thai food so we took him out to dinner here. Chicken satay was fresh but not very flavorful. Peanut sauce was delicious though. Pumpkin curry was a big disappointment. A little bit of pumpkin and lots of fresh tofu, mostly flavorless broth. Bok choy stir fry was tasty but the... More

Six of us dined here while visiting Santa Barbara. I've had better Thai but I've also had much worse. This was one of the better Thai restaurants we've been to. Certainly well worth the money and good sized portions. The six of us ordered different items and everyone left satisfied. It's a tiny place with a dozen tables. We came... More

Walked past this place and wondered why it was always busy. We tried it and realied that it was because it was essentially a cheap feed. Very bland and with a sense that artificial ingredients were used to make the flavours seem just enough Thai to get by. Tom Yum soup was blisteringly hot but tasted powdery and the Pad... More

Despite being a local here in Santa Barbara, we have never gone to Zenyai Thai before. Last night was our first, and unfortunately we were disappointed. Disclaimer here: My wife is Thai (Bangkok). Our first and primarily disappointment was that the food was really bland. I like Thai food because I love rich, bold favor. This food didn't have it,... More
