Being vegetarians, we always watch for Indian restaurants because they always have lots of choices. AND we like Indian food. The food here was excellent. Service was good and the prices were average for Indian buffet. A nice big buffet, by the way. I'd go again if we were to return to Santa Barbara.

This is a great restaurant where they really know their stuff. It was busy when we went in but the owners where having a meal and helped out. I love very hot food and when I explained to the owner exactly what I wanted he made sure that was what I got - excellent!!! Great to see a family orientated... More

We have been here before and recently we had my son's graduation dinner here. The food and service is great as always. You have to try the very yummy chicken 65 appetizer. We all have our own favorite dish to order, mine being salmon masala. My family agrees that this place is a "must" every time we visit Santa Barbara.

Spice Avenue is a decent place. I would not say great but you can have a nice meal there for a fair price. They have an extensive buffet and for those that like that type of offering it is worth the money

I went here with my husband, I thought you couldn't go wrong with Indian food but I was wrong. Food was tasteless, I had prawn jalfrezi which was so bland full of peppers. Over all it was over priced and really not worth it!

We sat in the outside courtyard which is covered. Delicious smells. Had attentive and knowlegable service as opposed to some other comments. Seafood vindallu was very good.

we were walking down State Street on a rare cold/rainy evening in Santa Barbara and were drawn into Spice Ave to warm up and smell the comfort of Indian Food. We didn't expect it to be special, but it was. My favorite Indian dish is Saag-Gosht (lamb with spinach) and this was the best I have ever had. I've been... More
