I am an international student studying at Santa Barbara City College. This restaurant is very close my school. I like their Korean short ribs and eel rice bowl.

Best and freshest sushi we have not had for a long time. They also make chef special rolls accommodating our special needs.

We use to go with my husband at least twice a week, the fish was amazing not fancy but fresh fish, we stopped going the last 8 months, the fish was terrible, Spanish mackerel was not skinned and tasted awful, we gave it another chance and still BAD. They increase their prices and you can have better, much better sushi... More

We have a few fancy sushi places in town, this is not one of them, but do not be fooled because this place is great. It is goo for almost any occasion or no occasion at all. It is a great place to go with a family or with friends for lunch or dinner. The hamachi you cannot beat. The... More

If you like your rolls large and lose, this is No. One! If you like your rice Luke warm, this is No. One. If you like your decor Midwest Cafe style, this is No. One! If you are not familiar with really good sushi, available just about anywhere else in town, this is No One! If you're on the Mesa... More

It was busy when we arrived on Friday night, so we reserved a table and went along for some cocktails at the nearby Alcazar tapas bar whilst waiting for a table to become free. There are three types of seating: traditional japanese matting where you have to remove your shoes and climb in (impossible for the disabled person in our... More

Visiting from CT and have the god fortune of having some outstanding sushi restaurants in the area (outside of Hartford). The establishment was simple and not what one would expect in SB. The matron was in inviting... Kind of like something out of Sullivan & Son. The table had a stickiness to it which was a turn off. Presentation and... More

I've been here for Sushi a number of times, and keep coming back for more. There are a number of great Sushi restaurants in Santa Barbara, but I think Ichiban still comes out as the top one. Everything has always been of great quality, the service is impeccable, the prices are more than affordable. Most of the guests are regulars... More

We enjoyed the sushi of this restaurant where there was a lot of Japanese people eating what I consider is a good sign. My recomendatio is that you try the ships, they are not very expensive and you can try a little bit of all the sushi they have.
