Good Thai, friendly service

Good food; daughter went back the next night for a take out of sticky rice and mango for a bedtime snack.

Pretty good food with red and green curries, papaya salad (yum), and garlic pepper squid. If you have it delivered, expect a bit of a wait and also, you will need to go online to SB menus which delivers food from several SB restaurants.

Popped into Galanga because we'd just arrived in Santa Barbara, had no idea where to eat and had no phone service so couldn't look anything up. It was great! Almost full, lots of chatter, fast and friendly service, delicious food.

Being lovers of Thai food, my wife and I were pleased to stumble across this restaurant amongst all the top end and expensive restaurants on this Main Street of Santa Barbara. The food was great, well presented and plentiful. The menu is quite extensive and everything seemed competively priced. Lovely staff and a nice ambiance. I found the Masaman chicken... More

I have always thought it difficult to make bad Thai food so that made the food here all the more disappointing. First off ordered appetisers which came out after the main course which somewhat defeated their purpose. Had a Thai green curry for main course..... the curry sauce was more like a soup and lacked any real flavour. The food... More

Our waitress was horrible. When we asked for clean plates after our appetizer because they were full of peanut sauce, she had an attitude. She brought the clean plates but she didn't take away the dirty ones. I had to clear them myself because we were at a small table. We continued to be "punished" by having no further service... More

My wife and I had dinner here, we like hot! You will get your wish. I thought medium spice was good, you can always add more but you can't take it off! We had a seafood soup and Thai Mint Leaves with ground chili which was great.

Good service. Food is delicious and the value menu is very generous. Located on State street near shopping. Recommended.

Professional and good service. The food was actually very good and high quality. Nice personell. Located in the hot part of the night life place and keeps the kitchen longer open than the neigbourgs. Thanks for a nice evening.

We went to lunch on a Sunday here because the other Thai place down the street was closed. Galanga is nice on the inside. I've eaten green curry hundreds of times, and normally Thai food in California is among the best. I ordered my curry "very hot" and it came out mild. I asked for the peppers. It didn't have... More
