We stop here every trip to SB. Great for lunch or dinner. So far, not a bad dish from everything we ordered. If the weather permits, sit outside and people watch!

If you're looking for a well made Raviolli at State Street and don't want to spend all your travel budget on a lunch/dinner, Aldo is the right choice. The Raviolli Rosa costs something around $12 and is delicious! My mom had the Fetuccini a Carbonara and she was amazed too. The service is excellent and the music in the house... More

This used to be such a great spot, but Aldo's seems have started cutting corners. From the bread they served to the sauce on my pasta, nothing tasted fresh. A shame too because the location is pretty sweet. But, like other locals who wonder what happened, I won't be returning.

With a large number of restaurants on State Street, we decided to eat in Aldos, because the open air seating. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff pleasant and welcoming, the food of a high standard. I would eat here again without hesitation.

Nice atmosphere, nice food. We liked the crab cakes and the iron steak very much. Good service too! A great non-mexican option here in San Barbara!

The gentleman playing the harp in the outdoor seating area was what drew us to this restaurant. I wish we had kept walking. The music was very nice, but he took a break for half an hour. Honestly, he was the only redeeming part of this place. First, the bathroom is in the kitchen, literally. You have to walk through... More

We were in Santa Barbara for just one night and needed somewhere close to the hotel for an evening meal for 2 adults and 2 kids aged 14 and 10. This was a great choice, all meals were very good, service was excellent and atmosphere pleasant. We would recommend.

We stopped for a light lunch. DH had a shrimp and scallop appetizer with puttanesca sauce - he said it was wonderful. He even mopped the sauce with bread. I had a chicken Caesar salad, Very good nice dressing and freshly cooked chicken breast. There was a sign that water is served only on request. It was a hot day... More

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant while strolling State Street, and were very impressed. Service was impeccable, food delicious. I had the Japanese Pumpkin Ravioli with Shrimp and it was to die for! Crab cakes, Caesar salad, bread, and my husband's entree were all delicious as well. Atmosphere was quaint and relaxing, we enjoyed it very much!

With so many great restaurants to chose from in Santa Barbara, don't waste your time here. Pasta was mushy and salmon was "swimming" in its sauce.
