With a large number of restaurants on State Street, we decided to eat in Aldos, because the open air seating. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff pleasant and welcoming, the food of a high standard. I would eat here again without hesitation.

Nice atmosphere, nice food. We liked the crab cakes and the iron steak very much. Good service too! A great non-mexican option here in San Barbara!

The gentleman playing the harp in the outdoor seating area was what drew us to this restaurant. I wish we had kept walking. The music was very nice, but he took a break for half an hour. Honestly, he was the only redeeming part of this place. First, the bathroom is in the kitchen, literally. You have to walk through... More

We were in Santa Barbara for just one night and needed somewhere close to the hotel for an evening meal for 2 adults and 2 kids aged 14 and 10. This was a great choice, all meals were very good, service was excellent and atmosphere pleasant. We would recommend.

We stopped for a light lunch. DH had a shrimp and scallop appetizer with puttanesca sauce - he said it was wonderful. He even mopped the sauce with bread. I had a chicken Caesar salad, Very good nice dressing and freshly cooked chicken breast. There was a sign that water is served only on request. It was a hot day... More

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant while strolling State Street, and were very impressed. Service was impeccable, food delicious. I had the Japanese Pumpkin Ravioli with Shrimp and it was to die for! Crab cakes, Caesar salad, bread, and my husband's entree were all delicious as well. Atmosphere was quaint and relaxing, we enjoyed it very much!

With so many great restaurants to chose from in Santa Barbara, don't waste your time here. Pasta was mushy and salmon was "swimming" in its sauce.

We happened on Aldo's while strolling State Street. So many restaurants to choose from, it was our good fortune to find this one. Three of us in the family - each enjoyed our different entrées. We especially appreciated such an extensive menu available late afternoon - not technically lunch time or dinner time. A special treat is the BLT pizza... More

We were walking to the beach and realised it was just too far so stopped here and ate on the terrace - what a find! The food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. The waiting staff were brilliant too, would highly recommend.

It was okay. Nothing great at all. The linguini & meatballs was unimpressive. The ravioli rosa was meh. The bread was stale, just as I read in another review here. Definitely won't be going back.
