On the ocean, fun

For lunch on Stearns Wharf. Lots of free parking, but they charge if you stay too long, tho restaurant validates parking. We got 2 stools, perfect timing. Bartender/waiter so friendly, helpful. Being from CO, we are bereft of seafood, so that's all we ate while in the area. It was all divine. Each... read more

Pass all the other tourist traps on the wharf and go straight back to Shellfish Company! This place is no frills- just really really great and fresh seafood, and you won't want it any other way. A few notable favorites: lobster bisque (best I've had), any of their crab specials (omg omg omg), fried clam strips, lobster, cioppino, coconut shrimp...... More

My wife could eat seafood 365 days of the year. We only went out to the end of the wharf for a stroll but when we saw this place we knew that was where we were having dinner. It's so popular you will probably have to add your name to the waiting list. We only waited about 10 minutes. My... More

After a pleasant walk on the pier, I came upon this little fresh fish restaurant at the end of the pier. Tried the fried clams that came with coleslaw and onion rings. It was a tasty combo and the house red wine was very good.

Snag a table along the outside wall on the west side of the building for a beautiful sunset dinner. The service was leisurely -- but in a good way. Fantastic basic approach to good seafood. I had two pounds of delicious Alaskan king crab legs. My friend had a zesty lobster and pasta dish. We started with the oysters Rockefeller... More

On a recent visit to SB we found ourselves on Sterns Wharf - although we weren't really that hungry, having samples multiple booths at the SB Public Market we found ourselves looking at the menu for SB Shellfish - and it looked too good to pass up! So we added our name to the list and waited for a spot... More

Crowded, noisy, loud music -- all the things I hate about restaurants, but I keep coming back because their food is the best!

Found this restaurant at the end of the dock and had checked out some others and this one seemed to be more moderately priced. It was quite busy but the waitresses were very organized and before long I was seating at a wall table looking out at the bay. When I checked out the menu, it was very decently priced... More

I don't see what people like about this place. I live in south Texas and love the seafood especially in Galveston. When we visited Santa Barbara we decided to go to Shellfish company because of all the good reviews. The only good thing I will say about this place is the service is excellent The first thing we noticed is... More
