Delish and elegant

We really enjoyed our meal. Impecable service and staff. Everything was great. Only beer and wine. Pretty restaurant...we sat on the covered patio and was delightful. Not inexpensive but worth it. EVERYTHING is from the SB area...very unique. Highly recommend.

I guess most would categorize this restaurant as French.....and they do a pretty good job of duplicating the French restaurants we know on the East Coast. However...... when the Onion Soup is not served properly in a crock where you need to break through the cheese and the contents is watery.....how can one consider this a true French experience. The... More

We had dinner here and it was a very good one. The service is good too. The restaurant is quite small: reservation is required.

superb service and food. It is expensive but actually good value if you take into account the quality of the service and food. The menu offers limited choices of classics. This allows them to focus on freshness and quality. Perfect for a special event such as a birthday.

I actually thought this was owned by the same chef that has Bouchon in Yountville but at our arrival was told it wasint. Was a bit concerned on how the food was going to be but was pleasantly surprised. The place itself is super cute and romantic. Think this would be a great date place. I had the mixed green... More

We started out well with an excellent starter but then had a ridiculously long wait before our main course. We had both chosen venison and we had to ask twice about what was happening before it appeared. The meat was unbelievably salty to the extent that you could not taste the venison at all. We complained and the dish was... More

We happened upon this restaurant as my husband and I were wandering around Santa Barbara. The proprietors were very helpful as we clearly did not have a plan. We were impressed because rather than steering us inside their restaurant, they offered many options in the area. In the end we stayed put and were thrilled! We sat in the front... More

We shared the Lyonnaise salad and smokey pork belly confit and barely had room for fabulous entrees of pork and the rarest of tuna. A local wine menu complements the experience and our waiter's recommendations were perfect. Ask for an outside table, though it will later be closed to the street by screens, because interior a bit noisy. Reservations.

This is our second time to Bouchon. Both times, the food, service and ambiance were outstanding. I had the lamb chops. They were divine! The wine was also excellent and reasonably priced.
