We had a nice meal at Bouchon with friends. Reservations are a must, the restaurant is very popular. I was really expecting to be blown away by the food at Bouchon, but it was hit or miss. We shared crab cakes and the peach salad. Both were delicious. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals well enough, but no one was... More

We were slavering over the Bouchon menu before our trip to Santa Barbara and looked forward to the experience. First, know that you must have a reservation. On short notice the best we could do was 8:00. C'est la vie. We went on a Tuesday which is Chef Murphy's market day where he sources most if not all of his... More

Reservations are a must. The food was quite good and the service was excellent. The grilled peach salad is excellent as are the crab cakes. My husband enjoyed the white sea bass while I had the chicken wrapped in pancetta. Simple chicken it was not! The chocolate chip bread pudding was the divine ending to a wonderful meal.

Enjoyable meal at the Bouchon. Reservations recommended. There is a limited menu so need to be receptive to maybe trying something new. None of the options available would have been my first choice however The pan seared scallops were good. The bread was outstanding as was the service. Rather odd was there was only one bathroom located next door in... More

Simply outstanding in all areas. Unquestionably superior food, wine, atmosphere and service. Server's recommendations are excellent. If you can only visit one top-tier, high-end restaurant in SB, this is the place. Reservations very strongly recommended (even weekdays) and if you're in town for a weekend, make them well in advance. Ask for patio seating for couples, inside seating for high-end... More

We went to Bouchon recently with friends who spoke highly of it. They have the main restaurant and a separate room that can be private if the numbers, and the occasion, warrants. We were seated in the separate room which gave off a nice intimate atmosphere. We started with a bottle of sparkling wine (Brut), French onion soup, crab cakes,... More

This place was amazing. Definitely top tier in terms of food, presentation, atmosphere, and service. Hunter was our server and he was excellent. Made great recommendations on food and drinks, and was precise and accurate. Will be back to Bouchon Santa Barbara again soon.

Excellent restaurant. Our waiter, Joaquin (?sp) was fantastic. His recommendations were spot on. The scallop trio appetizer was one of the best we ever had. The seafood was fresh. The meat done perfectly. This place fills up quickly, even on weekdays, so make a reservation. Only complaint is that the restaurant can feel cramped when its full. I think they... More

We have dined at this restaurant each time we have visited Santa Barbara in the past 4 years. We have never been disappointed with the quality of food, service and ambiance. There are many good restaurants in Santa Barbara and this is consistently one of the best!

We had a great dinner here last night. The service was excellent and the restaurant itself is quite unique with an old world yet modern atmosphere with some open air seating. Our mushroom appetizer was excellent and our entrees were cooked perfectly - I had the popular duck which has been on the menu since day one and I could... More
