A great special occasion establishment!

I love the fantastic service and most excellent food! One of my favorite SB restaurants, (which is saying a lot) out of the hundreds that one can choose from!

We stopped in at The Palace Grill on a whim after seeing good reviews. Dinner time on saturday night and live music on the street. We didn't have to wait too long for a table, even though there were many people outside waiting. Typical New Orleans style decor inside, but fun. We ordered the Cajun Martinis after an afternoon of... More

Went in on a Monday night, no wait but it was pretty early. By the time we left it was crowded. Two couples, we ordered both of the feast plates to share and ended up leaving food, there was so much! Which is surprising considering how good it was, and two hungry guys with us. We also had the cajun... More

Glad you had a great meal when you stopped by! I'm happy to hear you had a chance to try the Cajun maritnis. They have quite the kick, right? I hope we'll see you back soon for more menu exploration -- and Cajun martinis! Cheers, Errol, Manager More

I met a friend for dinner at The Palace Grill. It was my first visit and they had great food and a fun atmosphere. We went for the first seating, so we were able to make reservations which I would recommend if you don't mind eating a little early. I started with a Tropical Hurricane Martini, very refreshing after a... More

I am dine regularly in Santa Barbara. I have eaten here 4 yearsbefore and was most impressed. I came during the week and ordered the blacked chicken sandwich, the popcorn crawfish and the blackened salmon for my friend. I can only say that this time the restaurant was disappointing. Neither of the dishes was blackened, the server forgot the corn... More

I was really disappointed to hear we let you down on your last visit. Your food should have been cooked to your liking, and I'm sorry we let you down. I know we're better than this, and hope to get the chance to show you that again in the future. All the best, Errol, Manager More

We had such a fantastic experience at the Palace Grill six years ago that I could not wait to return to Santa Barbara to go there again. But sadly we were disappointed. The atmosphere and vibe were pretty flat and the food was only average. But in its defense, the first time we went we had a Friday night reservation... More

If you're disappointed, I'm disappointed. Flat and average -- this doesn't sound like our place at all. I'm not sure what was going on, but it sounds like we were having an off night. I apologize if we didn't bring the magic you remembered, Michaela. I hope you'll give us another chance to show you a great time because I... More

Always very good. Lots of choices, the best small muffins and my husband likes the Cajun Martini!. I enjoyed the Lemon Drop for less heat! A fun place with flavorful food and very good service. The chicken dish with a special sauce (you can't miss it on the menu) can also be ordered on blackened salmon. We tried it on... More

Over a decade ago, I stumbled across the Palace Grill, and I've never made a visit to Santa Barbara since without a meal here. The tiny muffins are awesome, the waitstaff is friendly and attentive, and the tile in the bathroom... well, let's just say you'll never forget it (go look). But the most important thing: Make sure you order... More

My husband and I went here two Saturdays ago and we had an awesome experience. We did not have a reservation but the wait was only 20 minutes which was not bad for a Saturday night.
