Great food - the lamb was immense!

The meal started with some muffin-y breads which were all great - far better than your standard bread selection. The lamb was incredible and the pecan pie was great too! Couldn't recommend the Palace more highly.

We liked this. Bowled into town late having driven from Saint Luis Obispo. Knackered hungry and not having inclination to work out where best to eat. This place looked busy. The clincher was stopping a local and asking them if it was good. One ringing endorsement later and we were in. I had jambalaya pasta. She had palace pasta (I... More

I've always enjoyed The Palace, but our last visit there was truly outstanding. It was a busy Saturday evening, and the always-great service, was better, friendlier, and more fun than ever. Everything we ate and drank was perfect. Start with a pepper martini, finish with the bread pudding, and enjoy every delicious bite in between!

I can't thank you enough for this truly glowing recommendation, LakersFanSB. Often times reviewers only speak up when something goes wrong, so it's refreshing to hear you wrote yours to tell us just the opposite. We'll keep up the excellent work if you keep coming back for more! Best wishes, Errol, Manager More

Sorry to say The Palace is changing for the worse; the food. The service is awesome and the ambiance is still outstanding. I've eaten here about 20 times. On my most recent visit my friend and I ordered the Crab Cakes and Craw Fish appetizers. The Crab Cakes had way too much filer and the Craw Fish had way too... More

Mitch, I'm really concerned to hear that the food hasn't been up to par recently. We always want to be offering delicious meals chock-full of seafood, so I'm disappointed you didn't receive that with us. I appreciate that you brought this to my attention -- rest assured I'll be looking into it. I'd also like to welcome you back to... More

We enjoyed our lunch very much the Gumbo Ya Ya was outstanding. We had a fried chicken salad that was also good. The Ice-T was very tasty and last but not least the bread pudding soufflé was amazing and a pecan pie was very good. The waitstaff was attentive and the prices we're very fair.

We stopped in at The Palace Grill on a whim after seeing good reviews. Dinner time on saturday night and live music on the street. We didn't have to wait too long for a table, even though there were many people outside waiting. Typical New Orleans style decor inside, but fun. We ordered the Cajun Martinis after an afternoon of... More

Went in on a Monday night, no wait but it was pretty early. By the time we left it was crowded. Two couples, we ordered both of the feast plates to share and ended up leaving food, there was so much!
