The food is very good, but it's an expensive place with a service that's not even close of what you've payed for. A lot of waiters taking care of your table, instead of just one, causing confusion and bothering. They were not very friendly also. Especially considering what you're paying for. The food is good, but not great. I don't... More

We had a reservation which is needed as the place is small. We were seated in a back room which was also noisy, but had much less charm than the main room. Meal was good and priced well, but the wait to be acknowledged and to even order wine was S O L O N G ! If it was... More

We had a wonderful Italian lunch here. The food is excellent and very authentic. They have an extensive wine list with lots of Italian wines. My favorite dish was Mezzelune, half-moon shaped ravioli stuffed with lobster in a lobster sauce with crispy fried leek shreds on top. The house-made gelato is outstanding, too. The service was attentive without being hovering.... More

This is a tiny place with great very different cocktail choices. The ambiance it excellent and the food very good too. We enjoyed raw oysters that were infused with 2 different flavors. You will love it.

We made reservations and looked forward to all the acclaim we've heard. We showed up about 5 minutes early and didn't have to wait, our table was ready and found it it to be very comfortable. The staff was as 1st class as you could ever want. Professional, certainly not students working through school. Fantastic wine selection and menu. Dinner... More

This is certainly the best Italian restaurant in Santa Barbara (we've been to virtually all of them over the years) and very possibly the best overall restaurant. Excellent food, reasonable wine list, great service - what more could you want? Advance reservations; they are often full.

My husband ordered Asparagus Soup and a white fish filet - well prepared, light and tasty. I ordered a Caprese Salad (very good) and Veal Scallopini with mushrooms and artichokes; regrettably the veal was overcooked and dry and the vegetables slice so thinly that they were indistinguishable. I declined to report this to the waiter as I chose not to... More

This is a very popular restaurant. Reservations are required. The restaurant is small. The tables are close together and it is loud. I had the veal scaloppine. The veal was thin and over cooked. I expected more for $31. Wine was expensive. I was disappointed with this meal.

The food here is amazing. Fresh pasta, house-cured olives and olive oil. Everything just tastes sooo good. A little pricey, but so worth it.
