I'm glad I did my research before heading to Santa Barbara or I probably would have missed this gem. I had the Beef Carpaccio as an appetizer which was very good and as my entrée I had the Duck Ravioli (Ravioli d’Anatra ai Funghi Porcini) and boy did I want to just lick that plate clean! It was amazing and... More

Lovely Italian, with fantastic service and the food was superb. This was a romantic spot, in a good location.

I've been waiting a year to come back to Olio E Limone. This is my favorite restaurant in Santa Barbara. Since I was staying just blocks away in a Bed and Breakfast, I naturally ate here my first night in town. I didn't think my last meal at this restaurant could be outdone, but it was! I decided to have... More

Our first visit to Olio and it was a wonderful experience. This is a classic Italian restaurant with the usual assortment of appetizers, primi and secundi. There are also special dishes added to an already comprehensive menu. We and our guests each ordered a separate dish and everyone spoke highly of each dish. The pastas were fresh and perfectly made.... More

I recently had a fabulous and delicious dinner date at Olio e Limone. The staff, waiters and general manager Rich Hollowell were super helpful with wine selections and food pairings. From start to finish we had a lovely experience. The restaurant was very busy the night we dined, but the staff and manager were very attentive to each guest. We... More

I'm so glad this place is 3 hrs. away from my house. Otherwise I would spend a lot of money eating there (it is pricey). I went there with my nephews (7 & 8 years old), my sisters and my brother in law. Three of us work in restaurants (2 of us in really good italian restaurants) and we were... More

Having spent a month in Santa Barbara, I was fortunate enough to visit a number of restaurants. Most of them were good to very good but Olio e Limone definitely stood out. This understated Italian restaurant does not appear to be the trendy "place to be seen" that it's sibling pizzeria next door is but it is authentic Italian both... More

We had reservations for the pizzeria, but decided to just see if they could fit us in, luckily they had a spot for the two of us. Service was attentive, but not pushy, even though the restaurant was extreme busy. We enjoyed prosecco with a great Prosciutto Di Parma Con Bruschetta. We followed that with the Mozzarella Di Buffala Con... More

Our favorite Italian restaurant in Santa Barbara and we've been to them all. The service is spot on and the food never disappoints. My favorite dish is the tagliata, steak over greens and thin-sliced potatoes. We can't get as good anywhere else.

We were referred by a friend so, we made reservations and were seated right on time. We had a starter of the figs wrapped in prosciutto but there were only 3 pieces and we had 4 people - I think the server should have mentioned and we would have ordered 2 - excellent flavor though. We moved on to a... More
