My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our recent dining experience at Wine Cask. From our table in the gorgeous courtyard, to our friendly, knowledgeable and attentive waitress, and to the incredible fine dining experience, we had a fabulous time! The Curran Rose' was perfectly chilled and the best we have ever tasted, the seafood carpaccio was fabulous, and... More

We took our 19-year old grandson to this restaurant for his birthday. It still maintains its old Santa Barbara ambiance and high quality food and service. We enjoyed the Lamb Sweetbreads, Osso Bucco and Pacific White Fish. Our server, Daniel, was most attentive and helpful and the food was excellent. It was a bit expensive, but worth it.

The food was absolutely delicious! The restaurant inside is quite formal looking but beautiful, there is also an outside courtyard. Our waitress was lovely.

Was in SB for the Film Festival in February. We signed up for a Foodie Tour through the Farmers Market with the Chef and Pastry Chef, Brandon and Rosie. We picked some veggies for our fabulous three course dinner at the Chef's Table that evening. There are no words...you need to experience this! Perfect food, unbelievable wines, and personal service!... More

I'm finally getting to write this (long overdue) review! My son got married, last July 13, 2013@ Old Santa Barbara Courthouse. My husband and I hosted a rehearsal luncheon at The Wine Cask on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 12 noon. We were within walking distance to the restaurant. Jennifer Brodt (Director of Operations) was my email/phone contact person. She... More

Have not been to Santa Barbara since 2001. My husband had never stayed in Santa Barbara. We stayed in Santa Barbara three days and frequented several restaurants, but the best, by far, was the Wine Cask. Our favorite restaurant is Wally's in Rancho Mirage, but Wine Cask was absolutely fabulous!!! We went there for a wedding reception, and the wine... More

My husband and I just had our wedding reception here last weekend. It went off without a hitch, and all our guests are still raving about this place. I was told by many that the food was fantastic, and one person even said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Jennifer was my contact for... More

Dined here for dinner on a Tuesday during a recent mid-week get away to Santa Barbara. We had a marvelous dinner, with many thanks to table server Adam for his help with our vegetarian palates. Adam recommended an "off menu" dish he said the kitchen does regularly for vegetarians and it was delicious. Inventive and well prepared/presented mix of greens,... More

My daughter and I had eaten a healthy dinner elsewhere, but stopped at Wine Cask for just a glass of wine and dessert. There is both outdoor and indoor dining and on this chilly March evening we choose inside---very cozy, very nice ambience---and a nice mix of ages among the clientele. A good selection of wines from the Santa Barbara... More

I took my mom for dinner to this restaurant after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. While I liked the food in general it was not outstanding by any means. The root salad was better in presentation than in preparation. The sea bass was kind of dry to my taste. I was told by the waiter that it's a different fish than... More
