This is a good restaurant with multiple rooms offering differing varied dining experiences from large to intimate. Excellent wine list with very good house wines.

The night we visited (last Wednesday) was the first night of the new menu. What a treat, delicious food, good service and excellent wine advice. Thank you, this was the best meal we had whilst of holiday in California.

A little gem tucked into paseo nuevo. Lovely, serious wine list. Fabulous sandwiches (we were there for lunch). Outdoor dining under a protective canopy, right next to the koi pond. Excellent service - - not overly intrusive, but just right. A great place to get away from the activity of State Street. Great for a romantic or special occasion.

Held my birthday party here and they were very accommodating. We had a medium size group and requested things on and off menu. We drank some great wines with advise from the waiter.

This was the fourth of five restaurant recommendations that we had in the Santa Barbara area. The previous three included the San Ysidro Ranch, Tydes and the Palace Grill. The Wine Cask was the best food by some margin. It doesn't have the location of the San Ysidro Ranch nor Tydes but the service and food are excellent. The wine... More

We were visitors to Santa Barbara and this was our first visit to Wine Cask. We were told that they had no record of our reservation and that the restaurant was booked for a private party that evening. Explaining that we booked a reservation through Open Table, we were told that the restaurant holds little regard for Open Table bookings.... More

Hello Elaine, Thank you so much for your review of the restaurant. I believe I spoke to your husband the next day, as I was calling to confirm dinner reservations for the next night. We both quickly realized that the reservation was made for the day after you came to join us, so that was indeed the mix up. We... More

My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our recent dining experience at Wine Cask. From our table in the gorgeous courtyard, to our friendly, knowledgeable and attentive waitress, and to the incredible fine dining experience, we had a fabulous time! The Curran Rose' was perfectly chilled and the best we have ever tasted, the seafood carpaccio was fabulous, and... More

We took our 19-year old grandson to this restaurant for his birthday. It still maintains its old Santa Barbara ambiance and high quality food and service. We enjoyed the Lamb Sweetbreads, Osso Bucco and Pacific White Fish. Our server, Daniel, was most attentive and helpful and the food was excellent. It was a bit expensive, but worth it.

The food was absolutely delicious! The restaurant inside is quite formal looking but beautiful, there is also an outside courtyard. Our waitress was lovely.
