So authentic!!

El Paseo is a wonderful restaurant. The food was delicious and very authentic. Not your main stream Americanized Mexican food. The bar area is also huge and the margaritas very strong :). The food is amazing - homemade tortillas, enchiladas, tamales, chimichangas - but the margaritas are even better! Everything was delicious - we will be back.

Took 28 people here for dinner for a special event. Had a RSVP here for months as we wanted to make sure we had a place to have dinner. This was quite honestly the worst service I have ever had at a restaursnt. I spoke with the very nice manager twice but she couldn't help. They were so short staffed... More

If you have a gang of kids go for Taco Tuesday. It's fun and lively. Also, if you have a gang of kids, you'll need a margarita. Delish.

This restaurant is tucked away in the El Paseo shopping area, a historic building where they have celebrated Fiesta for 90 years. The drinks are always good, the fajitas are excellent, and the tortillas are home-made. The manager always makes you feel like family. Open air in good weather (almost always) and they close the roof in rainy weather. Get... More

Had the most enjoyable meal at this restaurant. The Atmosphere is excellent and the food is even better and it felt like we in Old Mexico. Open air seating and great service was fun and relaxing.

Me and a group of friends decided to go to El Paseo for Taco Tuesday which I did not know it was a buffet. The place was full & the drinks were very good. I went to the buffet & to my surprise there were no sneeze guards in any part of the buffet. The food was in Chafing Dishes... More

Very good selection for buffet and decent prices as well . Didn't realize they only had brunch on Sunday's and no ala carte but was good none the less . One thing to note is the buffet ends at 2.30 and before 2 they stop bringing new food to replenish so go right at noon.

El Paseo Restaurant is tucked away between State Street and the Wine Cask Restaurant so it is a bit hard to locate but well worth the search! Each Sunday they feature an "all you can eat" buffet in the large plaza that houses their facility. Everywhere you look there is a different collection of very interesting foods. We went there... Been to the El Paseo for dinner on several visits. For this trip, we had my daughter's wedding reception here. Food is unquestionably one of the best Spanish epicurean experiences one could want. Staff is cordial, not uppity like some restauants in Santa Barbara. Presentations are 5-star. Ample parking in back off of Anacapa St.
