I'm a Santa Barbara native and had the privilege of eating at Ca'Dario at least three times in the past two years. The first couple of times, the service was pretty mediocre at best. I made a reservation for this restaurant on Open Table for Valentines Day. The restaurant contacted me a week before Valentines Day and told me that they could not accomodate my table of 3 because they were only seating parties of four. There are lots of Italian restaurants in SB... we weren't sure where to go. So glad we picked this one. The food was delicious... prices very reasonable... wines priced okay. The waitress could get a little more friendly but all in all, a great experience. more

i don't go out for italian food much as thats what i cook at home, but over the years (when in SB) have been here half a dozen times, and we always have a very good meal-we order our own appetizers and then share a pasta course and then a meat course. just like in italy-unpretentious and good. more
