Would definitely recommend the mushroom miso soup. The fish on the nigiri sushi was the freshest we have ever found.

The service was attentive given how busy the place was and the staff did their best to be courteous and come across unharried. Kudos for that. The disappointment was in the sushi. Despite a large mouthwatering menu, it was average by Cali standards. Presentation was good but the taste was average, Not bad, average. I wouldn't tell anyone to go... More

Arigato turns out some amazing sushi. We probably tried a half dozen different dishes, all of them good. Particularly liked the sushi with tempura-fried soft-shelled crab in it. The portions were a little on the small side, but prices seemed normal from high-quality sushi.

I have been going to Arigato since it was a small restaurant around the corner from it's current location. The food has just gotten better. The uni shooter are crazy good. The sashimi as amazing. The sushi chefs are awesome and Daryl (the manager) is the best!

A great place to eat great sushi . Had tastes of blacken Ahi salad which was light and had a lovely ginger dressing . Also vegetarian tempura roll , and the house special roll .

What I loved most about Airgato Sushi was that apart from the great food, the waitress was able to guide us quite expertly through the menu and make recommendations. And they were pretty spot on. Definitely worth a meal when in SB!

I was a little hesitant to try sushi in another country as I have had other bad experiences, but this place exceeded my expectations. This place was recommended by our tour guide Rosia with Tukon Tours. I just have to say WOW and yummy. The place is a small, outdoor, laid back restaruant. The owners are from Japan and the... More

Cute little hot spot, got seated right away at the bar at 7p (we had expected a wait, no reservations accepted). Menu is overwhelming large, creative and varied. We had 3 special rolls, a little nigiri, miso and edamame - for 2 came out to 60, so hard to argue the price! Could come here 10x and not try the... More

The first time I visited Arigato was in September of 2012. The food was great then and it is still great three years and many more dinners later. The place is always packed but you can always put your name down, go for a beautiful stroll down State street and return when you receive a call that your table is... More

All most everything is good on the menu. I think they get A+ graded sushi. Since it's always crowded, the sushi inventory always fresh. If you can afford it, this is the place to eat sushi.
