We had different types of sushi (7 I think). Although not being amazing, they were all good. The way we got them was a bit disappointing. My wife got her appetizer first, was almost done when I got mine about 10 minutes later. Then we got our first sushi roll right away. All other places we usually go to serve... More

The food was great, but the service was strange. We had a waitress in training, so I'm not sure if what happened to us is because of her lack of experience, or if the restaurant is always like that. There were two of us, we each ordered an app, then we ordered 7 rolls to share. My app came first;... More

A real Japanese meal in Santa Barbara! Lively although a bit crowdy! I would suggest to reserve before. Eat the raw egg in a glass!

We had excellent sushi here. It's nice to find something light and tasty with all these restaurants offering fried dishes, burgers, etc.

We were lucky to get a table for two on a Friday night. We sat outside which enhanced the atmosphere. The service was great, really friendly waitress who explained the menu - which is very extensive! I've had lots of sushi but this was the best because of the seasoning which accompanied each dish. Very subtle but made it so... More

This was really good sushi, yeah it was pricey but everything just melted in your mouth, so for me personally it was worth it. As appetizers we had the garlic edamame and I think popcorn shrimp (or similar), both were amazing. After the apps we had the Sushi combo and Rock'n'Roll, The sushi combo was ok, they should skip the... More

Really good sushi, the waiters are really nice, the manager (host) however is really rude and yelled at us because we were seated inside, changed our minds and moved to the outside.

We really enjoyed it. We were walk ins on a Monday night, and fortunately there was a no show reservation for 2 at the sushi bar. Perfect. We were seated directly in front of the main sushi chef. He took good care of us. They had no shortage of the Santa Barbara uni, something we were unable to get at... More

Terrific rolls - smaller sized and delicate - terrific combinations. Upstairs seating is more quiet and there is no lag in service. Out super friendly waitress had great suggestions and never missed a beat. This is a new destination for us when in town.

Arigato does sushi better than almost anyone. The fish is super fresh, menu items are very creative and the service is solid. Sushi chefs have long time tenure in many cases and they treat customers well. The Uni here is stupendous, don't need to say more. If you like Uni then just go here and try it. They have some...
