We were lucky to get a table for two on a Friday night. We sat outside which enhanced the atmosphere. The service was great, really friendly waitress who explained the menu - which is very extensive! I've had lots of sushi but this was the best because of the seasoning which accompanied each dish. Very subtle but made it so... More

This was really good sushi, yeah it was pricey but everything just melted in your mouth, so for me personally it was worth it. As appetizers we had the garlic edamame and I think popcorn shrimp (or similar), both were amazing. After the apps we had the Sushi combo and Rock'n'Roll, The sushi combo was ok, they should skip the... More

Really good sushi, the waiters are really nice, the manager (host) however is really rude and yelled at us because we were seated inside, changed our minds and moved to the outside.

We really enjoyed it. We were walk ins on a Monday night, and fortunately there was a no show reservation for 2 at the sushi bar. Perfect. We were seated directly in front of the main sushi chef. He took good care of us. They had no shortage of the Santa Barbara uni, something we were unable to get at... More

Terrific rolls - smaller sized and delicate - terrific combinations. Upstairs seating is more quiet and there is no lag in service. Out super friendly waitress had great suggestions and never missed a beat. This is a new destination for us when in town.

Arigato does sushi better than almost anyone. The fish is super fresh, menu items are very creative and the service is solid. Sushi chefs have long time tenure in many cases and they treat customers well. The Uni here is stupendous, don't need to say more. If you like Uni then just go here and try it. They have some... Our family of 5 went here for an early dinner. We were seated right away and service was quick. The menu was creative and original with roll combinations that I've never seen before. My vegetarian daughter also had many options to choose from. The sushi was amazing!

This is some of the best sushi I've ever had. And better than that, it's the freshest. If you go on a weekend you can expect to wait for a little while, but you can always put your name down and grab a drink nearby-it's worth the wait. The wait staff is attentive, the manager is hilarious and this place... More

Reading through the reviews here we had big expectations to this place and believe me, we've been to many sushi restaurants all over the world. The Arigato even went beyond our expectations! Just amazing tasty sushi, a lot of choice and wonderful service! Here are my two favorite rolls: - Rock'n Roll (others call that one rainbow roll, we had... More

Attended a business dinner on a Wednesday evening. It was a 40 min wait (downside) but the sushi was outstanding and the staff were extremely attentive. Great meal. Rolls were between 10-18 each so pretty reasonable
