Step back in time and enjoy......

This place rocks.....one would never know it's there. Nestled down in a valley not even visible from the road, this is an old stagecoach stop from back in the day. Green moss on the roof, it invokes thoughts of "the hobbit" movies....only this comes with great bands playing, roaring fire in... read more

Lovely fires burning in several fireplaces, soft lamps on tables, rustic cabin floors and walls--atmosphere charmingly rustic. Food, well, meh. Had a crab ravioli smothered in heavy sauce, overcooked vegetables. There is much better food to be had in the Santa Ynez Valley.

Getting there is half the fun. Off the beaten path, tucked in a hollow in the mountains, this charming inn offers up a great menu of burgers, soups, salads, sandwiches, and their signature bowls of chili. Do try the chili sampler with a glass of beer!

Last time we were in the area we miss having lunch here. On this occasion we got here in time. It was a sunny day and they have the BBQ out the back. The smell was mouth-watering. A band was playing in the open air and the place was packed (parking gets slightly difficult). We had to wait 20 minutes... More

Please take the time to stop here! A piece of history with great ambiance and delicious chili and tri-tip sandwiches. Au jus is a must try! So tasty and full of flavor! The service is so so. But the food outweighs that

Having lived in various parts of So Cal all our lives, we've been here on occasion throughout the years. It is always fun and always a renewed good time to walk around and see the interesting things on the property and then sit down for a great hearty meal. Stopped in for lunch this time with the kids (teens). It... More

Great ride to the restaurant on winding roads. Not many people there on our visit but that was perfect for us! Waiter was super nice! Food great and service was awesome! Wish we lived near here to visit.

Very fun place tucked into the hillside along the road. Casual, picnic tables and excellent people watching. Great live music - and did I mention the Tri tip sandwiches and onion rings that alone make this ride worth it? Great family outing on a Sunday afternoon. A stop off point for harley's and the likes - so you'll se some... More

Ever been on a tri-tip adventure? Because this place is worth the tri-tip adventure to the outskirts of Santa Barbara. Recommended to go on a weekend afternoon for the live music, and of course the tri-tip barbecue sandwiches.

What a great surprise to find this little gem. Terrific ambiance, great food at a reasonable price, really friendly folks working there. Worth the ride there.
