Very enjoyable food, ambiance and service is great. We really enjoy their salads and make a full meal if you are not into the main course. Soups are lovely too.

Cool old stagecoach stop that has been serving quality food for many years. This is a great place to stop on the way up to wine country on the San Marco lPass. We had terrific Barbecue Tri Tip and Chili. We sat outside in the picnic area and they do have indoor tables as well.. As you sit in the... More

I arrived in SB on the Sea Princess. After touring the town, I was met by a friend and he asked where we wanted to go for lunch. He had a choice of a Mexican, a Chinese and this place. It was recommended by his significant other;s friend who was chef and she saw it on a TV Food Channel... More

Both our meals were tasty and reasonably priced. I had tri-special wife had grilled veggie salad, with drinks. Chilli also. Best 40.00 we spent in a while.... More

add the yellow sauce and the salsa to the sandwiches served outside saturday and sunday. Also, there is live music and it is an interesting historic spot.

The drive from Rancho Oso was easy. We loved the historic site and the band playing in the bar building. The dinner house was charming, broken into a series of rooms. I loved the mustard seed salad dressing, and a manager brought out the Tavern's recipe book so I could photograph the recipe. I will have to learn to make... More

If you are looking for something a little different than all the cute city eats in SB, take a leisurely drive to Cold Spring. The drive alone offers many oohs and aahs, and just as you are wondering where the hell it is, there it is. Not much else! You are immediately greeted by all the friendly folks there who... More

Cold Spring Tavern is an old stagecoach stop about 20 minutes outside of Santa Barbara. So historic and charming , they provide excellent and unique food items with an interesting wine list and friendly service. Outside on weekends, live bands perform all afternoon and into the evening. Highly recommended destination dining or a wonderful pit stop when you're en route... More
