A group of us took the train from Glendale, CA to Santa Barbara, CA on Saturday. After walking around for a while, we walked out onto the pier and stopped at Longboard’s for lunch. Our waiter took our drink order and soon we were sipping away. Then he took our lunch order and that’s where things began to decline. I... More

My first impression is nothing really special about this place. The restaurant is situated in Stearn's Wharf on the second floor, with a big dining area. Its a very busy restaurant. We came here with friends. I ordered the Lobster Main tacos, and my brother in law ordered the most expensive dish on the menu and it turned out to... More

The food at Longboard's has never been stellar. But I keep coming back! Mostly because of the location. It doesn't get any better than eating lunch right on the pier. This last time (Feb. 20) I visited with family. We ordered the chicken Caesar salad, fish and chips, steamed mussels and fish tacos. All were edible, but definitely nothing to... More

We ate at Longboard's on a whim while walking down Stearn's Wharf. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor with a large outdoor seating area. The place was packed when we got there, but it's a "seat yourself" place so we snuck into a table fairly quick. Service is slow - it took almost a 1/2 hour for our lunch... More

Attentive, friendly service. AVOID the fish and chips if you are an aficionado as their magi magi breaded (not battered) fish is not a good substitute for the real thing! Their chips are nice. Nachos were a bile pile of chips overdone with jalapeños, and no cheddar cheese. On the bland side. For the quality of food and drinks, we... More

Second time lunching at Longboard's Grill this winter. You can't beat the pier location, which drew us to this restaurant both times. Once the car is parked far, far away and you are strolling, when lunch time hits, food must be found. Longboard's has readily available seating on the weekends and an awesome view from the roof of The Harbor... More

Well people usually come here do the view while Drinking . Got a dirty martini and blended margarita ( they're not good with cocktails)... Just order beer. Foods below average.... We came just to have drinks with friends and look at the ocean view.... Its okay but not amazing... Angie

More than just a place to get a burger, Longboards is well suited for the college aged beach-going crowd, but can accommodate families, too. The decor is surf-based, and the theme carries through, but there are delicious items on the menu--we usually split the fish and chips for our younger grandchildren. No 'library voice' necessary here, it's rowdy, and there's... More

Upstairs at the Harbor House, the closest restaurant on the wharf, Longboards offers a view of water on 3 sides. The food is disappointing, but not the view. Good for families, sunset dining or those looking to get their drink on.

Excellent time, despite the somewhat higher prices for the offerings. Lunch for 2, with a couple drinks and tip was $60. Maybe that's understandable based on location - the place is on the pier in Santa Barbara, a VERY expensive travel destination. Ok, I get that. But the view and ambiance can't be beat. I mean seriously, your out over... More
