I live in the DC area so I know when menu prices - plate portions - quality of ingredients - taste come together like a perfect home-baked peach pie. Pascucci hit the target. We dined the day after Labor Day - the Santa Monica Tuesday afternoon-night Farmers Market was still in progress outside on State Street - yet we still... More

We went on a Friday night. We called ahead and we're told that there is a 20-minute wait, but the hostess immediately offered to put our name on the list right then. Sure! It was BUSY. We were sat within 5 minutes of arriving. The seating arrangements were unusual- we were at a little semi-circle booth that faced another 2... More

After a long morning/early afternoon of exploring State Street, we stumbled upon Pascucci's and were so excited to see that 1. we found a decently priced Italian restaurant on State Street 2. that there was beautiful outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine and 3. that it's food came from local, local, local sources! We usually are avid Tripadvisor users to... More

This is a busy restaurant but serving our main mail before we have even finished the appetiser was a bit much. The mozzarella di bufala was dry and rubbery, not good. A shame because it looks like a fun place.

This restaurant is on the popular State Street in Santa Barbara. It looks like a quaint café with patio seating, but it is actually very big inside. We were seated right away in the back room. The atmosphere was really nice, with a cute fountain back there. We were brought garlic bread while we decided on our meal. The garlic... More

Pascucci is one of my favorite places to have lunch/dinner. I have never been disappointed with any aspect of my experiences there. The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely and unique, and there is a nice patio for dining out front (great for people watching on State Street). There's a romantic little nook in front of a fire place and... More

Several good friends, whom we trust, told us not to miss this place. We had planned on visiting one of SB's other great Italian places. They were right.. the food was extremely good/ tasty/ well prepared/ served promptly and nicely presented. We found that on weekdays, they have a 1/2 serving of selected complete meals which were plenty for us.... More

Their menu selections are varied and everyone in our party of 6 got different selections, so, it turned into a sharing experience. Very good lasagna, chicken parmigiana, Marsala risotto and the garlic bread is fantastic. Our server, Ashley, was attentive and very friendly.

Good salads and friendly service, dinner was just 'meh'... One special, decent value. One a la carte, nothing too special. We're from out of town and seem to have Fallen to the tourista trap? For all of the menu talk of local supply and respect for local community, comes off as regular fare.
