This was our third dinner here and, like the previous two, it was excellent. The ambiance is upscale without being the least bit pretentious. The service is very friendly and attentive. We started by ordering a basket of chips with the house guacamole and their tres salsas - we highly recommend doing the same. The chips were very fresh and... More

We had an underwhelming experience at the restaurant. All of our entrees arrived cold, to the point I had to ask if my tortilla soup was actually gazpacho. The entrees were not very good and in most cases they were not finished, including the vegetarian tacos and the shrimp and grits. The drinks were good and my friends thought the... More

We went to Cielito to celebrate our 6 year anniversary. and the food was great, wife had the Ceviche Peruano it tasted so fresh. I went with Tortilla soup it had a nice kick to it. our main course was for the wife Enchiladas de Camaron, they do not skimp on the shrimp. The tomatillo sauce was not spicy, it... More

This restaurant was recommended to me by a local in Santa Barbara. It's located pretty centrally in the downtown area in the La Arcada plaza. The food is upscale Latin food. They are known for their ceviche and tapas. They have a great patio outside and a very cool ambiance inside at night. I ordered the tortilla soup, tuna ceviche... More

The setting was worth the stop alone. Gorgeous old world interiors and lovely patio with fountain. Menu was unusual-filled with interesting, delicious and still health conscious items. So Santa Barbara, but with Latin American influences.

This wasn't quite what we were expecting, a bit more high end than planned, but it was very good. Top class cooking with a nod to Mexico, as opposed to Tex-Mex and priced accordingly. Beautiful setting in a posh part of town, good for a special night out, smart food, setting - and prices.

Appealing attraction in a courtyard with turtles in a fountain setting. The lunch menu was diverse with commonly known Mexican dishes with specialty. nuances that accounted for the proportions and preparation that actually were correct with their pricing. Tacos Pastor was flavorful, texture was moist, tender with the correct balance of spices that balanced the cilantro and piña. House guacamole... More

The counter clerk taking taco orders seemed to be annoyed at having to do his job. His lackluster attitude set the tone for the meal. The salsa quemada from the tiny plastic container was watered down. The short rib taco was fine, but the veggie was not. Pickled carrots covered in carrot shavings, a faint sprinkling of cheese and dab... More

Delicious, well-prepared Latin-inspired food. The ceviche sampler was excellent, and I had a coffee-rubbed duck breast that was also great. The wine list was good. The patio is great for dinner, they had heaters for the cooler March evening and it was very pleasant.

Great selection, meals are almost tapas like, select a few between you, enjoy the selection. Menu is great, particularly the Seafood and Mexican flavours. Setting is a little impersonal, perhaps a bit overly 'modern', but the food more than makes up for it !
