Probably expecting too much after seeing the wood burning oven and reading the reviews. I ordered the Napoletana pizza with anchovies which was sooooo salty I had to scrape off the top and I love anchovies. Found it was a bit disorganized getting a table. We made a "reservation", which means you get priority if there is a wait. We... More

How do you describe a perfect casual supper that exceeds everything you were hoping for? Look no further than Olio Pizzeria in Santa Barbara. The nice casual ambiance belies the seriously superb food that is prepared here. Start with the artichoke and arugula salad, and then progress to the BEST pizza in Southern California. I adored the pizza Napolitana, while... More

The flatbread pizza was the best I've had anywhere. We tried 5 different pizza 's and they were all amazing. Crowded and pricey but the food was amazing.

We only got pick up but service was friendly and prompt. The pizza itself and the calamari were mouth-watering!! We are still talking about it. Disappointed there isn't a spot like this closer to home! Definitely worth a visit.

A frequent quick and easy done out option for us, this is 3 blocks from our residence and a worthy choice for numerous options of delicious pizzas and accompanying dishes.

We just ate here tonight. We almost didn't because of the mixed reviews I read. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews. We had a fabulous meal & great service! We were very hungry & couldn't decide on an appetizer because so many looked good. We ended up ordering 4!! I know, seems excessive, but I'm glad we did because... More

They are very helpful and with good quick service. The pizzas though are tasteless. It must be something with the sauce.

Pizza was okay, kind of overdone. The arugula salad was fantastic. My biggest problem with this place was the 45 minute wait for a table. Booked through Open Table, hostess stated a 10-15 min wait when we arrived. That would have been okay but we waited standing up (most people had to wait outside in the cold) for 45 minutes.... More

After a great dinner at Olio e Limone (the full restaurant) the previous night, we came back to try the Pizzaria. The quality and variety of ingredients is impressive -- and were all tasty. I had the veggie pizza and a chopped antipasta salad. Hubby had the equivelant of a Supreme (lots of meat) pizza. All of our selections were... More
