very trendy, but average food

This pizzeria tries very hard to be very Italian, from the very extensive menu in Italian to the long list of Italian beers [some of which, we were told, were not available]. This was my second trip to Olio pizzeria. The place has a nice ambience and decor. The pizza we had wasn't so great. Just a simple Margherita style with buffalo mozzarella, and basil and sauce. The crust was too thin and seemed gooshy. So when you picked up slice the whole thing flops over and cheese slops onto plate. Had... More

olio put our large group in a big room by ourselves which is a good thing 'cause we do have a tendency to get a little noisy. pizza lovers (i'm not one) exclaimed with joy over the pizzas. there were plenty of other choices to please any palate and salads were great. service was very attentive. altogether a very pleasant... Best pizza, amazing salads and antipasto. The meatballs were incredible, and the pizzas are truly unmatched; try the mushroom one with rebbiolo. We went back 3 days in a row. Great wine list and wonderful atmosphere as well as service.

This place is really a find. No view, but the food is excellent, service is great, very authentic feel to it. We like it a lot. It is an oasis, lively, but consistently good food.

Sorry, but I just don't get it. I've seen the other reviews mostly raving about this place but unless we were there on an 'off' night I'd suggest the food is OK but not outstanding and the service was tragic. I simply can't give more than 2* to a restaurant where the waiter tells us we can't have plain toast,... More

Having eaten at Olio Restaurant the night before, my husband wanted more of a good thing. And it was good. We shared the anchovy and caper pizza. Those are two of my favorite things, husband not so much. He loved the pizza just as much.

I wanted a place to take my daughter and her two college roommates for dinner and this was recommended by the stylist who cut my daughter's hair down the street. It was perfect, and exactly what I was looking for, albeit on the expensive side for pizza. We ordered 3 pizzas, but could have been fine with two and not... More

There's nothing like an evening of dining starting out with good conversation until the crazy delicious pizza you ordered comes along and shuts all bon mots down. The place was super packed and the din was really up there (Huh?! What'dja say?!) But all that disappeared when the pizza came. Then there was this wafting of sweet deliciousness in the... More

I dine here sometimes, but pick up pizza often. It is terrific pizza, with that very Italian thin crust style. It is delicious pizza. The prices are steep though for the size of the pizza offerings.
