On my second night in town, I wanted a more causal meal and opted for Olio Pizzeria. I loved the atmosphere - very authentic. The pizza was thin crust and very good. I ordered the standard, light Margarita. This is a good choice for someone eating solo. The waiters and staff were very friendly. A very enjoyable meal and experience.... More

I came here with my two sons for lunch on a summer weekday and had a great lunch. We are all gluten-free so we ordered two pizzas with GF crust ($5 extra), as well as beef carpaccio, burrata and grilled asparagus with poached egg. The carpaccio has a tonnato-type sauce and plenty of capers. The burrata was very creamy and... More

A good pizza restaurant. Good selection of starters. Plenty for vegetarians. A good (if expensive wine list) cant fault it really.

We went here to have a nice, casual meal for 6 and were not disappointed. Ordered 2 salads and 4 pizzas, which was just about right (maybe a little much). Service was good and the pizzas came out in a flash. The more standard pizzas (margarita, sausage) were more successful than the more experimental (fig and prosciutto, fruiti di mare).... More

We enjoyed a fun dinner here. We loved the Hearts of Palm - lemon /Parmesan salad better than the pizza. Pizza was good and atmosphere was fun and festive!

Both of my sons (13 and 16) and I loved this place. We ate two pizza's, the Boscaiola and Parma - and enjoyed every bite. The desert (Cannoli di Ricotta) topped it off. I also enjoyed an italian beers, one of a decent number of beers on the menu.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a good lunch spot when we happened to find Olio hidden in shopping center near State Street. The restaurant was beautifully and traditionally decorated with Italian decor and staff began doting on us the moment we walked in. We were immediately plied with water and wine samples and the management periodically checked on... More

I’m Italian. The one who likes real italian, fresh and handmade food. This place is excellent. The quality is super high and the place very comfortable. My boyfriend is gluten intolerant and - with my BIGGEST surprise - the have a gluten free pizza. We ordered it and it was amazing. They have a great wine selection but even more... More

Great pizzas, great place and friendly staff. Top it off with really fresh cheeses and cured meat and you are in business. Not to miss when visiting Santa Barbara!
