This is such a great bakery. I highly recommend trying their Rosemary loaf or their poppy twist. They also make pies serve conventional breakfast and lunches. Both are amazing!

Their pastries are delicious. It is no wonder that they are known outside Santa Barbara as a destination spot.

They are well known for their pastries. I simply love their poppy pastry. However they also offer a fantastic breakfast and/or lunch which is worth trying too.

Checked this place out based on a strong recommendation from a friend. I'm a huge fan of cinnamon buns, so stopped by in the morning. Decided to take one home at $3.50, since a pleasant table wasn't available. On leaving, noticed the same bun was $6 for table service, so a bun and coffee would have been well beyond $10... More

Skip the Starbucks and the Panera. D'Angelo Bakery is located close to the pier, great if you want to pick up something to go. Friendly staff, fresh baked goods, reliable cup of Joe. Tucked away, it's a great place to grab a book and unwind. Moderately priced, takes credit cards, and worth making it the morning retreat during your stay.

Great omelette, always great service. Everything is fresh and delicious. The prices though, even for Santa Barbara standards are starting to creep up to the area where I'm not sure it's worth it. I ordered a side of sourdough toast- two pieces for $5.95. Seems a tad steep to me.

Had the Eggs Rose. Perfect presentation and preparation. Great breakfast or lunch - had them for lunch. Two slices of Kalamata olive bread topped with artichoke spread and two perfectly poached eggs. Apparantly this was featured on Food Network and I can see why.

We are locals & always get their sourdough mutigrain bread & decided to stay & have breakfast outside w/our dog. We had 4 ingredient omelets that are not fluffy. If you want fruit instead of the very average potatoes it's $3 extra. Waiter said he would give us extra toast, he did not. We asked for 1 item change &... More

I really enjoyed my meal here. It's worth sitting outside, looking at the mountains and seeing the people and vehicles go by if you can ... though that does seem to reduce the quality of service somewhat. The smell of bread when you walk through the doors is out of this world and all of the menu items looked good.

Thank God that we don't live in town cause we'd probably be there EVERY day! While in Santa Barbara for a week in December we would walk to the beach every day (about a mile) and on our return home stop by D'Angelo's. Kinda defeated the benefits of our daily two mile walk:/ Found it on our previous trip, locals... More
