Great brunch spot

Locally sourced food. Not a limitless brunch menu but enough variety to satisfy most palates. Portions are a good size and pricing is fair. There is also a well thought out kid menu for anyone under 12. We shared the Eggs Benedict which was superb.

We had a late lunch at Scarlett Begonia and enjoyed ourselves. The food was tasty and fresh. Service, on the other hand, was harried. The staff try very hard, but seem to have trouble keeping up. Perhaps we were just there on an off day. As a tip, I would suggest that it's worth waiting for an outdoor table.

They must've counted the bread basket as the first course, because our meal only had two courses. $42 for 2 courses was way overpriced. I had yogurt and granola as my first course, while my husband ordered the cinnamon roll. I had eggs benedict as the second course; he had french toast. The english muffin on the eggs benedict was... My wife and I always make a point to pop in here for breakfast. They offer the most unique dishes in a quaint patio setting. My favorite is the grits with poached eggs and Italian sausage. You will love this, even if you are hesitant about grits. The best! Ask for the patio as the indoor seating is crowded and... More

My wife had the lemon ricotta pancakes, and I had the French toast. Both were excellent as was the coffee, and the service of the waitress Carys (pronounced "care iss"). Nice setting. We highly recommend.

My favorite place in Santa Barbara for brunch. A little hidden off of State Street, makes it a bit less touristy then the restaurants on the pier and along the beachfront. Fresh local ingredients, with a revolving menu. Beautiful outdoor courtyard where you can enjoy a fountain and watch birds fly by while eating your meal.

Off the beaten path but worth the search. A small gem in Santa Barbara. Excellent food, quiet ambience that will let you enjoy the food and the company. Fresh, locally sourced and thoughtfully prepared. The wait staff were charming and efficient. Recommended by another restaurant. I suggest the duck, also, the salads and side dishes were really delicious. Fresh fish... More

Tucked away in a little courtyard off of State Street we had a delicious lunch, everything house made...crostini, cheeseburger chicken curry sandwich and lemon granite dessert with berries and cream. Everything was exceptional and the servers were helpful and attentive. This restaurant epitomizes Santa Barbara dining. Great patio dining...not a huge place so reservations were helpful. Very dog-friendly. We won't... More

We ate breakfast here twice while we were in Santa Barbara and, by the looks of the crowded restaurant, it's very popular. Nice atmosphere; there are outside as well as inside tables but we ate inside because it was chilly one morning and raining the next. Service was pleasant California-laid back. Husband had an omelet he liked very much -... More
