Food was excellent casual veg fair. We went for lunch and dinner and enjoyed lunch more. They do a good job reproducing familiar flavors without the animal products. The servers are mostly young, and they are very upbeat and fresh faced. We enjoyed everything we ordered. I would only take off one star and it was due to cleanliness. As... More

The menu had variety, service outstanding, and felt comfort that what I chose met my dietary restrictions. Chose vegetable lasagna, enchiladas, and jackroot tacos. Everything was outstanding!!

Without a doubt, one of the finest vegan establishments in the world, and I'm a world traveler and 26-year vegan, so take my word for it and go to Adama - the fact that everything is gluten-free on top of being vegan is astonishing. And they have some absolutely sinful gelato that they make themselves - just like everything else... More

Ordered the vegan quiche. It was cold, mushy, and tasteless. I have an allergy, they could not guarantee no cross contamination. Really? And this is supposed to be a health conscious restaurant, instead it is a place to AVOID at all cost. Someone idea of a 'good' idea.

Because I have special dietary needs I always look for vegan/gluten-free/organic restaurants when I'm traveling. I know I won't be able to fill all my requirements but try to get as close to what I need as possible. I decided to try Adama for dinner. My husband and I ordered two appetizers and one entree, each of which was, if... More

As the only vegetarian among 6 weary travellers - everyone had a great meal. This was my second visit, the last one a couple of years ago, as I don't get to Santa Barbara all that often. My non veggie colleagues had wanted to go again (and I most certainly did) and the food is definitely worth it. It was... More

Dropped in Adama for lunhc and was impressed by the choice. Nice waiting staff, friendly, and despite being very busy, they had time to explain the menu to me. I tried Daiya cheese for the first time (wish we could get it in the UK). Enjoyed the food, wish I lived closer!

We had a wonderful lunch at Adama. The menu was extensive and our choice was very tasty. The waitress could not be more helpful and caring and took very good care of us. In fact the entire staff was just lovely. Really enjoyed the food and the ambiance outside was fantastic. It also looked wonderful inside the restaurant. A little... More

Would have walked out, but was with our son and did not want to cause a scene. Was seated at a round table near an old white stove, with high back uphosteres chairs that were greasy and filthy. The area rug under the table was covered in stains. The food was fair. I ordered the onion rings( about 6 for... More
