I loved this restaurant, the owner is a really sweet lady that keeps experimenting with new recipes and always comes up with new delicious goods. The service is super friendly and helpful, and the food is served quickly. Everything I or my friends have had so far tasted amazing, and I definitely recommend to take something from the bakery as... More

For DF/GF food, cannot be beat. Great food, great service and a hip (if a little cramped) location. Highly recommended, even for those not limited to DF/GF options.

Finding a restaurant that is both vegan and gluten free and also appeals to non-vegans is a real challenge and this place is it! All of the food we had was outstanding. The theme is compassionate food - food more people should be eating everyday for the planet, for the animals, and for our good health. This place rates 5... More

Have you been frustrated trying to find healthy, creative, reasonably priced vegan fare? Well, look no further if you're trekking in Santa Barbara. Located just off the main drag, an easy block from public parking, is one of the best, if not the best, vegan place we've enjoyed. There's an extensive menu with old favorites and some new creations. We... More

Food was excellent casual veg fair. We went for lunch and dinner and enjoyed lunch more. They do a good job reproducing familiar flavors without the animal products. The servers are mostly young, and they are very upbeat and fresh faced. We enjoyed everything we ordered. I would only take off one star and it was due to cleanliness. As... More

The menu had variety, service outstanding, and felt comfort that what I chose met my dietary restrictions. Chose vegetable lasagna, enchiladas, and jackroot tacos. Everything was outstanding!!

Without a doubt, one of the finest vegan establishments in the world, and I'm a world traveler and 26-year vegan, so take my word for it and go to Adama - the fact that everything is gluten-free on top of being vegan is astonishing. And they have some absolutely sinful gelato that they make themselves - just like everything else... More

Ordered the vegan quiche. It was cold, mushy, and tasteless. I have an allergy, they could not guarantee no cross contamination. Really? And this is supposed to be a health conscious restaurant, instead it is a place to AVOID at all cost. Someone idea of a 'good' idea.

Because I have special dietary needs I always look for vegan/gluten-free/organic restaurants when I'm traveling. I know I won't be able to fill all my requirements but try to get as close to what I need as possible. I decided to try Adama for dinner. My husband and I ordered two appetizers and one entree, each of which was, if... More
