I am lucky enough to often travel to Santa Barbara and be able to enjoy the great food and atmosphere the city has to offer. Until now I would only eat at Bistro 1111 out of necessity and not by choice; however, that has now changed as they renewed their menu with a new chef that has elevated their food... More

Hello Miralicious! Thank you for this wonderful review! We too, are very excited about the arrival of our new chef. I would also like to let you know that his arrival is one piece of the puzzle. The much needed renovation that you mention is indeed in the works and will begin very shortly with the target finish date to... More

Personable, courteous and professional wait staff along with the delicious mahi mahi tacos made this a good choice for dining.

We came in around 9 am, restaurant was not to busy. We were asked to wait to clean the table. The server tried to convince us that the buffet option is the way to go.Two of my family members opted for buffet. They ordered omlets. 60 min later no omlet was brought to the table and the waiter showed up with the... Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for your time and feedback, I appreciate you being able to share your experience even though it isn’t what I would want anyone to experience. As I feel our buffet is a great option for breakfast, our servers know that nothing should be pressed upon if the guest doesn’t want it. Our goal is to... More

Friend found this listing on her phone. We were late going to dinner, wanting some good food quickly. Short walk from our room to the Bistro. Water views of Santa Barbara Beach. Food was really good, great wait staff. Also got a free appetizer off our smart phone!

Ate here for a late lunch. Had the fish tacos. Everything was fresh and tasted fine. Nice wine selections by the glass. They seem to offer daily happy hour specials which makes this a popular place with hotel guests. Very friendly bartenders.

While at the hotel for a conference, a group of us had drinks and dinner at the bistro - first of all, my glass of wine was $17.... CRAZY. My burger was OK - a colleagues food was palatable, but not particularly tasty. The waiter was very pleasant, but quite challenged with the large group. The wine was good, but... More

I stayed at the Hyatt for three nights and ate here each night. After work, I would work out and didn't feel like driving so I went to the Bistro each night. The food is great. My favorites were the Brick Chicken and Scallops. The restaurant is nice and service was very good 2 of the 3 nights. If your... More

I loved the grilled fish tacos and ahi watermelon ceviche. One waiter was great, one was a young kid who enjoyed talking to me while I was trying to eat my dinner.

This is the bistro in the Hyatt and they're just across the street from the beach. It's kind of typical of hotel restaurants in that it offers well-prepared meals with good wine selection but isn't exactly cheap. We came here for lunch. They provide bread with butter and oil & vinegar as a starter, so one could go the cheap... More

My "poor" rating is based on the fact that the food was average, at best, and the service flawed. My hamburger with sautéed mushrooms came without mushrooms. When the oversight was corrected with a small bowl of mushrooms, they turned out to be canned mushrooms that had been prepared improperly … soggy and flavorless. The meat was apparently 90+% lean,... Hello and thank you for your review, your feedback is important to me. I'm sorry that the burger did not meet your expectations and left you with the impression that it was of substandard quality, the meat is All Natural Angus beef from Strauss. I assure you that each item on our menu is prepared fresh and is the highest... More
