Savory Sundays

The Sunday night prix fixe menu is one of the best kept secrets in overpriced Santa Barbara. Excellent 4-course mix of French-Ethiopian fare... for just $25? Incroyable ! Even at double the price this high-quality, well presented and tasty food would be worth it. Make a reservation on Sunday, as... read more

Nate, our server, and Nate, the sous chef, served up an outstanding lunch with excellent recommendations for wine pairing. I loved my escargot crepe!

My wife and I had a perfect late lunch here after a few hours of walking and wineing:) We shared a fresh seafood packed rissoto, perfectly cooked pan seared white fish and two glasses of wine. And I think our bill was around $50! Tucked away in a cute alley just behind the main strip. I totally recommend.

Wonderful food. Have eaten at Le Petit Valentien several times but my recent dinner was the best. Keep it up!

We'd walked by this place numerous times during our visit as it is perfectly located in the La Arcada shopping area. Cold and tired we decided to stay on our last day in town and were not disappointed. I hesitate to label it "French Bistro" food as the menu, although limited was much more interesting. Polenta with shrimp was luscious... More

Cozy, and romantic little French Bistro, great food and prices. the sauces are not overdone and light, a departure from typical French fare. I had the duck which was incredible, very lean and it tasted like a cut of exquisite sirloin. Delicate and flavorful. Great date-night spot with your honey or even a quiet biz lunch

My wife and I had dinner this evening, appetizer and main were excellent for us both. For the price, one of the best restaurants we've found in this visit to Santa Barbara.

A quiet retreat off the city's main street with an excellent choice of wine and a constantly changing menu. Handily placed for the Museum of Art and the many theaters, including the Granada, New Vic and the Lobero. A real gem. Always enjoyable...

Exceptional service (on a weekday eve). Fresh and tasty food, prepared in traditional manner. All were recommendable but none stood out.

My wife and I visted this restaurant for dinner after happening to stumble across it during exploring the back lanes of Santa Barbara. The setting is lovely, in a time of drought this arcade is a refreshing little oasis of green. We had the snail crepe and frogs legs, both were delicious. The venison was in my wifes words "...
