New Chef a couple of months ago who cooked fish that a 3* Michelin Restaurant would have been proud of. Enthusiastic, pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Best meal I have had in a long time. Great wine list. You do not need to go past the Santa Barbara wines. more

I'm with everyone else. This is a great restaurant. Our waitress was completely informed and naturally helpful. The setting is pretty and cozy and not over the top. You could go jeans or a sport jacket and feel comfortable. The real attraction is the cuisine. I had the most unbelievable duck and the confit was other worldly. My wife and... more

Excellent meal at Seagrass. Made reservation, arrived on time and were offered a table immediately either inside or outside. Very attentive service with appropriate and helpful advice from waiter. Generous portions of both the scallop chowder and heirloom tomato salad, both of which were tasty. Salmon and ahi were perfectly cooked and served with wonderful side dishes. Would happily return... more

We were immediately attracted to the decor and elegant style of this restaurant when we walked by. Soft beige and green with coastal accents, it was very inviting. We were immediately comfortable and the staff was very welcoming. We had a light dinner as we had a late lunch but wish we had saved ourselves for Seagrass! We shared a... more

My boyfriend and I had dinner at Seagrass a few weeks ago, we were in Santa Barbara for just one night and I had read a good review of it somewhere. The whole experience was excellent. The service was outstanding and all the food was delicious. However the best part of the meal was the Scallop Chowder. My boyfriend and... more

We went to Seagrass on the recommendations here, and found a lot to like, and some things absolutely annoying. The service, which in the beginning seemed friendly, helpful, extremely accommodating (careful questioning of certain dietary requirements and more than willing efforts to substitute) became, over the course of the meal, intrusive, disruptive, and bewildering. Not only did the the server... more

My husband and I had dinner at SeaGrass on the patio and it was lovely. The food is expensive as expected being a Bouchon restaurant and overall the food lived up to our expectations. The reason for my review is to mention the outstanding service recovery. The oysters and my bourride were wonderful but my husband's whitefish was dry and... more

First off this was one of the top meals I have ever had. I travel for a living and have eaten at some top spots in most major cities all over the country. The service was excellent, the decor was top notch and the food was brilliant. We started off with appetizers of oysters and sand dabs. The oysters were... more

We went to celebrate our annivesary and the food and service were marvelous! The waiter was knowledgable and approachable. He made helpful suggestions. We had one of the best meals we have had in a long time. The dining room was absolutely beautiful! more

My husband, teenage son, and I had wanted to eat at Bouchon but they had no open tables for us walk-ins, but they called their sister restaurant Seagrass and reserved us a table. Our hotel had said Seagrass was excellent and we can now concur. We're so glad they had a table open! It's an intimate restaurant with ten to... more
