The restaurant is on the beach which made for fun, but the food was not. My husband and I had dinner there on a Sunday evening and the food was marginal at best. Went to this establishment recently after finding it online. From the outside it looks like your typical beachside eatery but step inside (Or outside as the case may be) and you'll find a nice dining experience with both nice views of the beach and dining right on the beach. This location is one of SB's best kept secrets. Good food with an awesome view of the Santa Barbara channel and the islands. You can dine while watching the beach activity, surfers and kite boarders. Had lunch and tried the Seared Ahi...I try it usually as an apetizers most places...here the Shoreline presented a full staek portion on a bed... more

This restaurant is amazing on so many levels. The manager Enrique is a great guy and a wonderful host. It sits on the beach you can eat on the sand or the patio or the deck - there is not a bad table in the house. Everyone looks over the water, the dolphins or the sail boats racing. GET HERE... more
