So I'm not super knowledgeable on Thai food (yet-gonna go live in Thailand next year) but i really really love the pad thai from George's. I seriously crave it often! I love the way the different textures compliment each other. The spiciness level seems to vary and i'm not sure if it depends on that day's cook or on the... More

I have been dining at George’s Thai Bistro for many years. For me, this is the measuring stick for Thai food in the South Coast Metro area (i.e., that doesn’t count Anaheim, Newport Beach or Laguna Beach). George’s menu has grown over the years and is now fairly extensive … but not very expensive. During our most recent visit, we... More

Ordered Pad Thai to go. Surprised to see that the noodles were covered with red cabbage. At first I was a little taken aback - but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the texture and flavor of the cabbage went very well with the rest of the dish. It wasn't the best Pad Thai I ever had, but it... More

I've eaten here several times and have never really been impressed. Had the chicken curry the last two times and both times the chicken was overcooked. OC needs more Thai restaurants. Maybe some competition would improve George's. Restaurant itself could use some updating and improvements.

George's ambiance is getting a little tired but the food and service are still great. The place is clean but outdated decor. I have visited 5 or 6 times and no matter what I order it is well prepared, fresh, and authentic Thai Cuisine. This time it was Spicy Basil Fried Rice with Beef, Squid Salad, and Thai Fried Chicken.... More

My sisters and I were out and about near the South Coast Plaza and were starving. We saw George's and thought we'd give it a shot. It was mid-afternoon, and there were not a lot of patrons inside, but that isn't always a reliable guide to a restaurant's goodness. We were seated right away, and the restaurant would get a... More

Whenever I'm in the area, I always stop by George's Thai Bistro. They offer popular dishes such as Drunken Noodles, Pad Sa Ew, Basil Fried Rice, and Tom Yum Soup. Prices are very reasonable and average about $9 per dish. The spice level is from 1 to 10 stars. They are very serious about the spice level. I enjoy spicy... More

This restaurant is in an outdated setting but clean and comfortable for an informal, inexpensive and delicious meal. The servers seem to be family members or otherwise untrained, or at least not Americanized, and do not know the fine points of how to wait tables. For some diners, this will be a "plus" -- but for others, it may be... More

had dinner here 2 times. The thom ka kai soup is pretty ok, Main dish was not really mindblowing nor typical thai, ,nor as spicy as advertised. More like a nasi dish with some basil. Would rate the food more like a fusion of all kind of asian thing. They serve also jambalaya, not very thai if you ask me.... More

We were browsing the Delta Sky Dining site to see what was in the area and decided to try this place we've not been to in the past. It is now an official part of our lunchtime rotation.
