WOW! Unique and Flavorful Food in a Great Setting

LOVED dinner here a couple of weeks ago! The food is fantastic and the ambiance is quite cool... I'm stealing someone else's "Haunted Mansion" description, because it does have that sort of dark and cool feeling about it. We ordered the chips and guacamole, which was good and is also served... read more

In Town on business and over the weekend had time to visit Santa Ana. Dinner at Lola Gaspar was outstanding. Spontaneous stop, no reservation on a Saturday evening, but staff was very accommodating. Short 30 minute wait, so went for a glass of wine nearby. Seating option when we returned inside or outside. Opted for outside under an awning that... More

What a great restaurant should be. Excellent service. Hand shanken cocktails. Food so freshly made I had to wait for it to finish cooking (short ribs). The food was delicious! Wish there was a place like this in our town!

I would have never found this place until my friends decided to show me around downtown Santa Ana. I had no idea there was so much more to the area. Friendly atmosphere, a delicious tapas menu (ex: duck mac n cheese, bacon wrapped dates) and crafty cocktails. I wish I knew of this place when I lived there, as I... More

Tucked away down a pedestrian-only roadway, Lola Gaspar has a cozy neighborhood feeling with a broad-spectrum foodie's ability to please. With both indoor and outdoor dining, we chose to sit at the bar rather than wait for a table. It was a good choice! People at the bar were quite friendly and easy to strike a conversation. It was fun... More

Hidden little gem of a tapas restaurant in downtown Santa Ana. The reviews were so good that a friend and I wanted to try it since we were in the general area. It took a lot longer to drive there than we thought though but it was worth it. We were greeted at the outside patio door by a very... More

Met a friend for dinner/drinks on a Thursday night. It wasn't crowded and we were seated at the bar. The atmosphere in here is great, and the staff are super friendly. The menu has fun flavors and combinations. We really enjoyed our mussels, braised kale and fish tacos! Will definitely come back here again. When the weather warms up their... More

Outstanding corn meal jacket chile relleno! greatbbacon-wrapped dates! Sangria, beers, margaritas with style! Oh my! writing is making me hungry! And for good reason!
