Surprise! Surprise!

What a find! A small Venezuelan cafe with style and delishousness! The "arepas" (small round sandwiches) of pork or chicken are tasty, with soup or salad, are habit forming punctuations for any day! The lentil soup and others recipes are perfect complements! I love their fresh peach licuado... read more

So there really are not any Venezuelan restaurants anywhere in the OC and the ONE in LA sucks... It is more Puerto Rican. Not this place, this place is so Venezuelan it is to die for. We come for all mine and my Mom's birthday's and Mother's Day so we will be back again soon. Warm some errapas for us... More

After seeing good reviews online we decided to try out Mil Jugos but unfortunately left disappointed and wondering how it got so many good reviews. Right off the bat, parking in Downtown Santa Ana is not only difficult but expensive, fortunately there's a parking structure right in front of Mil Jugos. The actual restaurant is small but nice, tons of... More

impressed with the Cachapas con queso, empanadas, and the passion fruit juice. I bought a couple of hallacas to eat at home, they were very good too. As a traditional dish for this time of the year, it was a great discovery. I just wish they would be open later during the day so I could stop for dinner some... More

We visited Mil Jugos for a late lunch to try it out based on a comment by a latino friend of a Venezuelan restaurant in Santa Ana. Since we are from Venezuela we were curious about such a restaurant in Southern California. Bottom line, the food listed on the menu have the names of Venezuelan dishes (many types of arepas,... Great variety of dishes. The corn bread sandwiches are tastey. Try the green sauces. The one has a bite, but flavors are wonderful. Pleasant staff.

A Venezuelan deli, run by natives and packed with transplants as well as your average Americanos. (Rumor has it that the place is popular with the LA Angel Venezuelan baseballers as well as visiting proplayers and coaches.)The ingredients are supremely fresh and the preparations mouth-watering. Specialties include Arepas which are unbelievably light and crispy white corn pockets filled with a... More
