We had a very lovely lunch at Ragged Point. We also spent some time wandering around the garden and looking at the picturesque coastal at the rear of the property. I spent a lot of time trying to photograph the hummingbirds in the gardens. There is also a good gift shop adjacent to the Inn...well worth a look.

We stopped by the Ragged Point Inn for lunch, on the way from Carmel to San Simeon. The Ragged Point Inn was recommended originally as an ice-cream stop (the shop in the plaza serves SLO Maid ice cream, which is very nice) but since it was lunch time we had lunch there. I ordered the Ragged Point Gourmet burger and... More

This beautiful inn is a fancy resort on a point the ocean side of the highway, about 15 miles north of San Simeon. It is expensive for lodging, but it also has an indoor restaurant, plus an outdoor café with lots of picnic tables and a lovely trail heading down the point to the beach through beautiful gardens with colorful... After driving all the way down Hwy 1 we were famished and were so happy with our stop at Ragged Point. The service was quick, the vegan vegetable soup delicious, my daughter's calamari pleasantly not all bread! We had the Spinach and Caesar Salad, which was presented in an interesting way --- whole leaves as opposed to all ripped up.... More

My husband took me to Ragged Point in for a romantic getaway, and we had lunch at the restaurant. It was SO good (I had the crab cakes) we wanted to go back there for dinner. Equally amazing - I had the crispy duck breast, and the flavors surrounding it were amazing. Memorable meals that left us salivating for more.... More

We called here wanting a quick lunch of deli style sandwiches and soda. Ordered a ham and a turkey plus 2 sodas -not much change out of $20. Our order was taken with indifference and we were given a number. We waited almost half an hour before our sandwiches were delivered without a word of apology despite us asking about... More

Stopped here for a quick bite, we were so glad we did, as I enjoyed the best omelet I've ever eaten. All the veggies in the omelet were freshly chopped, and that made all the difference! Fresh jalapeños, tomatoes, spinach…yum! You won't find any bargains here, but you get what you pay for. The staff was friendly and attentive, and... More

This place was packed, but we got our food in a reasonable time. The food was fairly good considering every table was full. Great views and there is outside seating which would be very nice when the weather is permitting. There were 5 of us and all felt that their meals were pretty good.

This is a good restaurant. I admit, after driving from Morro Bay to Ragged Point, it's hard to be in a bad mood because it's arguably one of the most beautiful drives in the world, literally. We had a pesto shrimp flatbread with artichoke and feta which was excellent. We had a Cobb salad and a turkey cranberry salad, which... More
