We have dined at this restaurant several times over the years and I'm hoping that our meal there last Saturday was not an indication of the direction they may be headed. We were seated quickly and provided menus, chips and salsa. After a short delay, (us, not the staff) orders were taken and all was well. After the food was... More

Good food and chips with salsa. Prices about right for the Coast. Outside patio area available. Service was really good.

They made us (and others) wait for ages although there was plenty of seating. The place did not have a clean feeling to it but my family wanted to stay. Once seated the food came out quickly and the portion sizes were HUGE! It tasted ok not great, a bit bland if anything. I had been looking forward to it... More

There are not very many choices in San Simeon; but put this one at the bottom of your list. My party was there tonight, and were very disappointed. First, the restaurant only has a liquor license for beer and wine; so no good margaritas. Second choice; a glass of white wine. Oh, no white wine-none. Our server with an attitude... More

Dined here was after take away made my order and waited. The guy at reception must of been new as didn't know much about the food when I was ordering. A couple came in and asked for a menu to "take away" the guy said that they didn't have a menu they could take away but could look at the... More

The food was the worst we've had in a long time. The fish came out looking like it had been on the grill for hours several days before. Highly recommend staying away from this place.

The problem with this restaurant is that the food is so good! I had the best chili rellanoes and the best margaritas. But first, I had the best guacamole. I thought the food was reasonably priced. the service was very good.

If you're in the mood for Mexican food while in San Simeon give this restaurant a try. They served the standard Mexican dishes but did it with the local beef we had just heard about while touring the Hearst Castle. They also had a good number of wines from local winemakers which gave us the opportunity to expand our wine... More

If your in San Simeon, you will soon realise the choice of eating establishments is not very wide. But you can do at lot worse than this Mexican the staff are friendly and the food is excellent. Often in these small towns, you find places that know your choice is limited and do the bare minimum, not here it's worth... More

I don't care what the other reviewer's say this was the best mexican food we have ever had. The wife and I stopped here on the way back from trhe hearst castle to morro bay. The food was so good that we drove every day from morro bay that we there. The food was made from scratch and we have... More
