Disappointed

BEWARE!! They are only open from 11-4pm. We arrived at 4:45. We were looking forward to trying their food based on the reviews. The swordfish sandwich sounded good.

Good grief but my burger was HUGE! And one of the most delicious I have ever had. I am a big fan of green chile cheeseburgers and this one qualifies as the best. They have a secret chipotle sauce they put on this baby that made a great burger even better. I enjoyed my meal around two in the afternoon... More

BEWARE! You may want to split a burger....the Hearst Beef burgers are to die for! Huge patty and no matter what you put on them you will be tasting beef like you never have. the ambiance is great - indoor/outdoor casual dining. To have a wine bar/tasting in the same rustic building only enhances the experience.

My husband and I visited the Hearst Castle for the first time and decided to stop here for lunch before our tour after reading great reviews. It was even better than expected! Being right across the street from Hearst Castle is a major plus. But the food was so unexpected. We both had the swordfish sandwich and I can honestly... More

For $8.50 I got a very filling fish taco and a large (refillable) coke. My travel partner got a very large order of fries ($3.00), a very large Hearst Ranch beef hamburger ($9.50), and a large coke ($2.50). Between the two of us we couldn't finish the hamburger or the fries. The fish taco was a perfectly sized portion. The... More

Yummy yummy yummy. My daughter and I stopped by for a late lunch, still crowed. Any burger is made from local beef. Very Tasty!

After a 2hr drive along the PCH, Sebastian's was the perfect place to rest & enjoy a great lunch before our Hearst Castle tour. Bleu cheese burger was delicious, onion rings were piping hot & crunchy and the Mexican minestrone soup hit the spot!

Sebastian's changed hands in 2014. More outside tables have been put in place. The menu is now a fraction of the size it previously was. We ordered a sandwich and it was NOTHING like we would order in the past. We were EXTREMELY disappointed in the menu AND the food. Although we've made a point of having lunch there EVERY... More

Sebastian's has a fairly high rating; so we dropped in after Hearst Castle and the burgers didn't disappoint. The fries were good as well; but I can't say it was better than any burger place I've ever been to as some reviewers have. We could have split a burger they were so huge. Worth stopping by, but not worth a... More

We were driving up the Pacific Coast Highway. We stopped at Hearst Castle, but the tour would have taken too much time. However, we did stop at Sebastian's, which is a little coffee / wine bar and sandwich shop just across the road where you can taste and buy Hearst Vineyard wines, and get sandwiches (including burgers made from Hearst...
