Sebastian's is a convenient stopping place for a casual lunch or snacks proximate to Hearst Castle. Menu primarily is grill food and good. The Tri-Tip sandwich is flavorful and large. Sebastian's handles quite a crowd efficiently -- with one notable exception for such a popular venue. There is a single, unisex, restroom just outside the entrance ramp. The line is... More

We stopped here for lunch after visiting Hearst Castle. 2 of us had the tri tip sand which, one had a burger and the kid had the chicken strips. Delicious! The tri tip melts in your mouth. So so so good! I highly recommend a visit here.

We were driving from Santa Barbara to San Francisco and decided to stop for lunch. The sandwiches were delicious but perhaps not as big as the guide book led me to believe. As a consequence and wiseing up to American portions I ordered a sandwich for each of my teenagers believing that there would be plenty left over for me.... More

Very unusual sandwiches and so tasty. We stopped in after a visit to the Hearst Castle. The employees were very friendly. Not pricey at all.

Love this entire area of San Simeon....by the ocean - I wish I could move there. Such beauty. And how fun to go to Sebastian's Gift Shop ad Coffee Bar. Friendly people. Fun to shop a little bit and have good coffee.

Wait in line...it is worth it! One of the beet burgers I've ever had. Excellent coleslaw. Consistently good.

There was a line so that's a good sign. Our beef dip sandwich was very good. It was a neat experience in there because there was a wine tasting bar and a post office in the same building.

The coffee bar was recommended by a number of locals, they were right. The options available for lunch were very wide. As vegetarians the options in USA can be very limited, not here. The portions were rather large, it would be easy to share a sandwich between 2.

Stopped here after visiting the Hearst Castle based on my search of restaurants in Trip Advisor. Comments and rankings are spot on! Food is very good, you need to split a sandwich unless your a big eater. We shared a hamburger, almost too large to bit (literally). Our travel companions had another sandwich and were well pleased. Because you can... More

Went here on a recommendation from the hotel and we were not disappointed. It's a nice little general store with a wine tasting and cafe all together. The portions were HUGE! We got a cobb salad and my wife and I split it. We didn't even finish the whole thing between the two of us. We also got a sandwich... More
