Big, Delicious Burgers

Pretty sure Sebastian’s has the best burger on the entire Central Coast. Locals from Paso Robles actually head over the hill for them, I was told. And they should—1/2 lb. of Hearst Ranch grass-fed beef, all the trimmings—delicious and so big, even a hearty eater like me couldn’t finish one... read more

We were staying in Morro Bay and decided to drive to San Simeon. We were a bit hungry so we stopped at Sebastian's for a late lunch. So happy we did! We walked into the building to find a wine bar on one side and the restaurant on the other side. We got in line (the entire time we were... More

Great Tri-Tip sandwiches in an outdoor setting. Recommended for a quick bite and some relaxation as you're going up or down the coast. Opened for a limited time daily. Super friendly service. I wouldn't sit too close to the trash cans because of flies.

Bringing our Canadian Cousins to Hearst Castle meant finding a place for lunch. Since we had 10 people ranging in age from 8 to 65 meant finding a place that would be fun for everyone. Sebastians was perfect! Not only was it a lovely setting, it was casual enough for flip flops and children yet sophisticated with its wine tasting... More

Perfect stop-off for lunch - just off the beaten track and next to a stunning wooden pier and beach. Informal lunch of excellent fish taco and burger, washed down with a decent glass of the local Hearst wine. Really pretty old building and environs ... relaxing!

Our family stopped for lunch hear after reading all the reviews. The oak grilled steak sandwich was so good. My husband got the pastrami which was excellent. The burgers were huge, my daughter couldn't finish and pulled pork was great too that my son had! I topped off our visit by doing the wine tasting! The Chardonnay was awesome! Highly... More

If you go to Hearst Castle or are on the Coast Hwy drive, try to stop at Sebastian's....for a bite to eat. Their hamburgers are just about the best I've ever had. A fun place to relax and look around. You can look up at Hearst Castle from their grounds.

Some had burgers. I had a tasty veggie burger. The ambiance is a bit frenetic for an out of the way place. The counter staff were pleasant and accomodating. My husband had a special type of fish burger that he said was quite good.

Great burgers & fries and lovely atmosphere are just three reasons why we always stop here for lunch when we are in the area. The setting is extraordinary. Other things might be great on the menu and the wine tasting bar is probably wonderful as well but we haven't tried them yet. We will though I am sure.

After a full morning of tours at the Hearst Castle, we were hungry! We shared a burger (they're huge) and an order of onion rings and we each went away full. The burger was ordinary but the onion rings were delicious. We sat front and got to take advantage of an antique car show driving by.
