Great food and lots of it, you likely don't need to order as much as you think! Fantastic burgers, buns and fries. We sat outside and enjoyed a wonderful afternoon.

Wow! the portions are for giants and really tasty. This is a must when in San Simeon. They have been there forever and are still awesome. And the location is too special. Charming.

A great stop before or after your visit to Hearst Castle. Long lines indicate the great food and fun atmosphere. Sit outside and enjoy the views and weather or inside and shop for locally made crafts, vintage foods, candy and local wines and beer. The portions are monstrous so share and share alike. Worth a stop even if you don't... More

We have been coming here for a few years now and have never been disappointed. It's a bit off the beaten path, the lines can be long at times and parking can be tricky but who cares? It's well worth all of that and more. The turkey sandwich is huge and amazing. The Cobb salad is enormous, fresh and delicious.... More

This place is really easy to find if you are visiting the Hearst castle. The store is not huge. As you walk in, there is a bar toward the left and on the right, that's where you line up to order. There are signs that states the long is long so you are warned. Once we order the food, it... More

If in San Simeon, it is worth the very long wait to place and order and wait for the food delivery. All the meals are made to order with the most high quality meats coming direct from the Hearst ranches. Large portions are easy to share. Large selection of unusual sodas and drinks. Only open for lunch from 11:00 a.m.... More

Really worth the wait. I think this place is always busy! If you have a normal appetite, you can share the sandwiches and salads. They all look good!

You have to try this place for lunch. Share a sandwich you won't be able to eat the whole thing. They have the Hearst Ranch winery tasting room in the restaurant. Nice to pick up a bottle of wine to have with lunch.

Sort of ran into this place on the ocean side of the highway below the Castle. Very rustic and help yourself. Initially though nah but was convinced to stay and that was a good decision. First friendly people, second great beef dip sandwich! Give some thought to sharing it unless you are a big eater. We shared a sandwich and... More

A little off the beaten bath but worth the trip. The sandwiches and salads are huge. Delicious and filling! My sister had the black bean burger, I had a bacon, avocado and cheese burger and my daughter had the greek salad - oh yeah and a side of homemade onion rings. We didn't have to eat for the rest of... More
