The restaurant offered a varied and affordable menu (sandwiches, burgers, seafood and Mexican foods) as well as some truly delicious homemade desserts (the chocolate and butterscotch brownie for $2 was scrumptious!) Service was excellent, friendly. An adjoining wine bar makes Sebastian's an excellent restaurant for adults as well as families with children who will enjoy the children's menu.

We have been to Sebastian's many times in the past and knew from experience that you better be there early...or late, because they get busy. So...on a Wednesday we were "knocking on the door" at 11:00 AM only to find out that their hours had been changed to 11:30 AM. That was not a problem as it gave us half... More

I drove by looking for breakfast after staying the night at San Simeon - nothing really attracting me to stop here: the outside sitting area does not have a view, and signage was cluttered and confusing

Sebastian's is a convenient stopping place for a casual lunch or snacks proximate to Hearst Castle. Menu primarily is grill food and good. The Tri-Tip sandwich is flavorful and large. Sebastian's handles quite a crowd efficiently -- with one notable exception for such a popular venue. There is a single, unisex, restroom just outside the entrance ramp. The line is... More

We stopped here for lunch after visiting Hearst Castle. 2 of us had the tri tip sand which, one had a burger and the kid had the chicken strips. Delicious! The tri tip melts in your mouth. So so so good! I highly recommend a visit here.

We were driving from Santa Barbara to San Francisco and decided to stop for lunch. The sandwiches were delicious but perhaps not as big as the guide book led me to believe. As a consequence and wiseing up to American portions I ordered a sandwich for each of my teenagers believing that there would be plenty left over for me.... More

Very unusual sandwiches and so tasty. We stopped in after a visit to the Hearst Castle. The employees were very friendly. Not pricey at all.

Love this entire area of San Simeon....by the ocean - I wish I could move there. Such beauty. And how fun to go to Sebastian's Gift Shop ad Coffee Bar. Friendly people. Fun to shop a little bit and have good coffee.

Wait in line...it is worth it! One of the beet burgers I've ever had. Excellent coleslaw. Consistently good.

There was a line so that's a good sign. Our beef dip sandwich was very good. It was a neat experience in there because there was a wine tasting bar and a post office in the same building.
