Great beef, cheese, and more

Of course it is pricey; that's a given. But the food is simply stunning. And the scope of offerings is amazing. Service is ok but not stellar.

I come to San Ramon for work and this whole foods caters to the business folks who would rather eat organic, veggie, fresh etc. I'd rather grab and go sit by the nearby trail and park (about .5 mi walk) than sit alone in a restaurant. The store is medium sized and seems to have a good selection - The... More

My 14 year old grandson and I needed a quick lunch. He got a burrito which anyone would have loved. You choose a variety of items to have on it and they make it up in a jiffy. I had a few of many items off the hot food buffet type selection. It was a pay by the pound venue.... More

Love Whole Foods to shop and at times, to eat. We drive often from Pleasanton to San Ramon to shop and grab a quick bite.

This is still a good place when one does not feel like cooking. However, the selection and quality is not as good as the Whooe Foods in Walnut Creek nearby. Pick up a salad, a bottle of wine and some bread from Acme Bakery and a great lunch is ready and at your finger tips. Can also eat there but... More

I have been to Whole Foods all over the country and the San Ramon store is over-priced and the quality of their offerings are just OK. The employees who work there are great and I have known some of them for quite a long time. In comparison to other Whole Foods in place like Austin, Seattle, Las Vegas, San Francisco,... More

Overpriced, but the this is the only place to get fresh fish from the local or Alaska area. In comparison the stuff at other supermarkets always appears to be "fresh frozen" and of lower quality. How I wish there was a local fishmonger!

Shopping for last minute items at the Whole Foods in San Ramon wasn't a terrible experience at all...on the contrary, the staff was so pleasant and gracefully handling grumbling crowds...we left feeling impressed with their overall bandwidth and customer service. Happy New Year!

This is not a restaurant; it's an overpriced imho so called health food supermarket. Prices are high, service is good. Worth it? I have my doubts.
