Good chips and salsa to start....but the margarita was a major league disappointment...hardly tangy at all. They pour some pre made mix from a bottle that tasted watered down/diluted r at least hardly limey/tangy....passed on the second one and just had a beer. Food was fine; ate at the bar and enjoyed the game on the newish wide screen TV.... More

The food was not very fresh as if it was made before we came. I went here years ago and it was much better. I'm not sure if it was just an off night or what but I wouldn't recommend for Mexican food. You are better of going to Chevy's.

YES, I know, Cella's has been around for years and a lot of people go out of habit. The service is bad and the food is tasteless. If you think this is great Mexican food you are sadly mistaken

If you are coming here for a quiet, leisurely meal this is not the place. But if you are looking for great Mexican food, good service and excellent Margarita's then this is the place. Most of the employees are family and they make you feel welcome. But it is the food that keeps bringing me back.

This place is rather busy and we had to wait 30 minutes for our table. When we were finally seated, it felt very cramped...the tables feel like they are too close together. The food was very good however, which explains the crowds. Unfortunately, they had a mariachi band go from table to table (the place is already too cramp---there's no... More

Even though the traditional cuisine does shine, they have one of if not the best cheeseburger in San Rafael.

Décor and service were very good. Food was mediocre. Although all we had were cheese crisps, it was not a very good representation of their menu. But I thought how can you screw up a cheese crisp. Maybe by using a cheese substitute? Prices were a little high for what we got.

Good service, quick & efficient and friendly. Nice decor, easy parking. Fahitas could be better, usual Mexican fare is fine.

We went here on a Sunday evening and found a busy restaurant that was able to seat us right away. The chips are great and the salsa was a bit spicy. The waiter left us a pitcher of water which was appreciated. We just got a couple of combination platters, both of which were very good. I had a strawberry... More
