My co-workers and I hit Lotus when we want Indian, the service is great and the food even better. They have a great buffet. I particularly love the Chicken Tika Masala and Tandori Chicken. I have been coming to Lotus for years and will continue to do so.

We thought the luncheon buffet was terrific so we could try a variety of foods at a good price. We loved the pakora, different kinds of chicken dishes, variety of sauces, and desserts. My husband, who is just beginning to really enjoy Indian foods, declared this the best Indian restaurant he has ever been to. If we had more time... More

Good lunch buffet. Fairly expensive at dinner time. Standard fare, very consistent quality. No surprises. Chai is only OK, gulab jam in are not good. gruff staff. music has not changed in 15 years.

The restaurant has an interesting ambiance. The food is decent though not the best Indian food. Given that it located in Marin County, far away from all the great Indian food places in the Bay Area, it may work for many people just for the sake of convenience, We had the lunch buffet. The naan was okay but not crispy... More

Lotus does traditional Indian dishes very well, using top-notch ingredients. In the few times we have eaten at Lotus, we have not had one bad dish, and we have had a fairly large range of dish types. Nearly all have been very good or excellent. And they do not make the dishes insipidly unspiced to cater to a western taste,... More

The food is top notch; and a step up from usual Indian fare and the team service is excellent. I have probably had 50 meals here over the years and have always enjoyed it.

Love going to this restaurant. Keep going back again and again. Superb Indian fare, excellent service - If you are a "curry" fan, you wont find better. I can recommend Lotus.

My teen daughter had never tried Indian food before, so I took her here for their lunch buffet. It had been a while since I've dined here....but as usual, I was really impressed. Décor is very nice with traditional Indian Hindu touches. Very calming music playing. The buffet is wonderful....nothing weird or spicy, just a nice sampling of different Indian... More

I've eaten the buffet lunch here many times and it is always good. The dinners are great. Their lamb naan is delicious, the chicken mahkini scrumptious and lamb vindaloo is very tasty. The have a good selection of wines by the glass and usual Indian beers. I've spent a bit of time in Rajasthan and this food is authentic.

We had dinner here on a Sunday evening, 2/3 of tables were occupied. At $12 to $14 per entree, prices are too high for small servings. After ordering it took over 20 minutes for main dishes to arrive. Ordered pappadum crackers plus mushroom masala, and prawn coconut curry. Pappadum were OK, but the other two dishes arrived in small bowls... More
