Great ramen, terrible service

We went for dinner on a Friday night and waited a long time to be seated despite empty and set tables and open seats at the bar. They were out of their most popular ramens too - stewed pork belly and pork cheek meat and the soy/miso flavor - so we only could choose from the standard ramen dishes... read more

We love this place! Food is super hearty and filling. One dinner order will last me for two or three dinners! What it lacks in ambiance it makes up for in value.

The quality and quantity is great, a soup if you don't eat too much can be for 2 people, the flavor is great and they have a great service I really recommend this place

I got here before it opened. There was a line forming outside the restaurant already. Staff came out and handed out menus shortly before it opened. Took our orders while we were lining up and gave us our seating assignments. Very efficient. I ordered the pork flavored ramen. Portion was smaller than last time I came. Soup base was creamy... Went late for supper, and the place was jumping. They had ran out of a number of items on the menu, so if you want to try everything, get there early. Not sure if they use msg, but would not be surprised if they did. Staff was great, menu was simple but good. Would visit again.

This restaurant is my go-to for enjoying a bowl of al dente noodles in a salty, deliciously unctuous broth, but ya gotta hurry to eat those noodles because they seem to quickly go from beautifully chewy to too soft after 15 minutes. And some days I'll come here and my ramen soup is only okay when the noodles are not... More

A line forms about 30 minutes ahead of time for a reason. If you are looking for great service, nope. Their mission is clear--serve as many people in as short a time as possible. They are fair, though. They take orders in the order you were in line. They give you a menu in line so you have time to... More

The owner got a rule of not serving people who are late to the table? Three of us got a table of four and someone joined us late and they refused to serve my friend who came in late. They told him that he can sit with us but no ordering because people in the queue would complain? I can... More

It was the first time my family has gone to Santa Ramen and it will not be our last! There was a long line , but the waitstaff took our orders in line to help speed up the wait. The guy in front of us was a "regular" and made some great recommendations from their blackboard menu . I had... More
