The owner got a rule of not serving people who are late to the table? Three of us got a table of four and someone joined us late and they refused to serve my friend who came in late. They told him that he can sit with us but no ordering because people in the queue would complain? I can... More

It was the first time my family has gone to Santa Ramen and it will not be our last! There was a long line , but the waitstaff took our orders in line to help speed up the wait. The guy in front of us was a "regular" and made some great recommendations from their blackboard menu . I had... More

Of course you can't compare with the good ramen in Japan nor the oxtail ramen I had in Hawaii but this is good. I had Tonkotsu ramen. This compares well with the one I had at Iroha in NYC. I wish I could have tried other ramen but.... Haven't had good ramen since I left DC area, so this was... More

This place is considerable much bigger than most ramen places I've been to. The ramen here is nothing special but they have my chicken wings. Even though the place is bigger than most, there is still a line during dinner times but quick turnover with good parking lot.

I remember when this restaurant was located closer to downtown San Mateo - I remembered it being pretty good and all these years haven't had the opportunity to come try since it moved. In the last week, I've gone twice, once with a friend because he was in the area and suggested it, and another time to give it a... More

I had pork belly ramen with pork garlic broth. Had to stand in line to get in. Its a very popular Ramen spot. Has lots and lots of reviews on Yelp. I just didn't think it was that great.

This restaurant serves excellent ramen with braised pork belly or roasted pork cheek. It was delicious!!! Everything was fresh and tasty.

We enjoyed the food very much. The waitstaff was overworked and we nearly had to tackle them to get tea or water. I'd go back for lunch here again anytime.

Ramen with pork soup is the best. Noodles are cooked just right. Loved the Chicken Karaage. Service is quick as your order that you made while waiting in line is ready within minutes of sitting down. Parking spaces in the strip mall are very tight.

Read all the reviews so was ready. Sunday night at 6pm, no line, but restaurant was full. By the time we left, there was a line!! Everyone ordered different broth, all were good. Have to have the stewed pork...little bit of heavenly pork belly. Interesting additions to soup, who knew corn would be so good in noodle soup. Service was... More
