Breakfast and lunch offerings. Great, fresh food--Large portions. Creative, varied menu. Original decor, not just the feel of an place with history but history all over the place. Some of the best, thickest bacon I've ever had. The staff is efficient and personable. Bring your patience or call in your order to go--once you eat the food, you will understand... More

Nini's is located in an unpretentious building in a quiet neighborhood. My friend and I ate lunch there on the way from the San Francisco Airport. We sat in a lovely covered patio outside and had a really good lunch. I had a garlic burger with grilled onions. That sounds ordinary, but it was very tasty. I have a small... More

Well, maybe not exactly, but clearly the choice with locals. Sat at the counter and was stunned the number of folks who came in who were greeted by name. Also how many on departing said, "See you tomorrow!" That really says it all. Fun, local, unpretentious. Good value, More a diner than coffee shop. Large menu. Daily specials. I asked... More

My wife and I read a positive review for this place and set out on foot from our hotel to find it. It is in a quiet neighborhood. A bit of a time travel entering the cafe, back to the 1960s and 70s. Food (omelet and potatoes) was original and excellent. Service friendly. Worth the effort to find.

Love the atmosphere and food. We would have never found if a friend didn't take us. Popular with locals.

Great local coffee shop tucked in a residential neighborhood. Generous breakfast and lunch plates in a casual setting with a nice patio dining area in the back. Good food and good service, but there can be a wait on the weekends.

We have been regulars at Nini's since we moved to the area in 1990 and the broker who sold us our home told us about Nini's. This is solid American style coffee shop food - nothing fancy, but consistently well prepared, with an extensive menu. The best part of the place is the front of the house staff. Most have... More

I ate at this coffee shop this weekend, having found it on the Internet, and saw some great reviews about it. I would definitely say it lived up to the reviews: the food was wonderful, and plentiful, and well prepared. We had about a 20 minute wait when we arrived (at 10am on a Sunday) for our table for 7,... More

I've been eating here for 25-30 years. Always excellent and comforting like home I remember on time in particular... August 9-10, 1995. Sat down for my usual eggs benedict and picked up a newspaper, Jerry Garcia had died. I was happy to be there...
