a must in san mateo

Breakfast at Nini's is the best idea when you are in San Mateo. Outdoor dining as well as indoor. Huge variety of items. Great waitress who have been there a long time and know their customers.

Even in a town where coffee shops are a dine a dozen, NiNi's is the star in the crown! Skip the others! Go early cause there can be substantial lines on the weekends and order the Teriyaki Steak and Eggs. Yum!

What a cute little hidden gem in San Mateo, in a quiet neighborhood close to the freeway. Many know about it, because it was very crowded, but there is plenty of space on the patio with the heaters cooking. The friendly staff and great breakfasts are quite an attraction for a morning feast of good food.

This cute little place has some excellent food. I mostly come for breakfast. The menu is extensive and the food is always delicious. It's location is on a residential street so, it's away from the busy downtown area.

I've been going there for at least 15 years. Food and serqvice is always great. It can get busy on the weekends but you can always find a place to park.

Everyone there greats you with a warm smile...if you become a regular, they remember your choices even if you stray from the menu. Consistently meets or exceeds our (my husband) expectations. Nini Love!

This is the type of breakfast place that you want to bring out of town people to. The home style charm that this restaurant offers is second to none, and the food that they offer is delicious and large. Highlights include: Biscuits and Gravy, any of their enormous omelets, and the teriyaki steak and eggs. If you come on a... More

We often go to Nini's but it definitely is time for a remodel. The food is consistent and the menu is huge. Inside searing is crowded and the chairs uncomfortable. Outside, there is a bit more room but the chairs still are not supportive. As I've had more birthdays, comfort has become increasingly important. So though I've frequented Nini's for... More

Popular place. Sunday am there was a long wait for a table, but service was very good once seated. A club sandwich was especially good as was the steak & eggs, but the jalapeño budget was disappointing.
