Awesome American family diner with great food awesome staff. Usually a bit of a wait on Saturday and Sunday mornings (20mins) but well worth it. Staff are awesome

...but it's so much fun and the food so good, that now it's "popular". Which means you have to plan carefully to avoid a long wait. Or be stoic/flexible enough to expect a wait. Heck, even parking to go wait gets hectic, especially on weekends. But go, circle around looking for parking, be patient, and you'll be rewarded! Wait longer... More

Ninis has been a well-known secret for many in San Mateo County. This is a big house that has been turned into a restaurant. They are known as a breakfast place and it gets quite crowded on weekends. Great selection of omlettes. Good pancakes and eggs benedict. Not good for children who hate to wait. I've seen many meltdowns outside.

It is truly a warm, family run cafe, with the most amazing breakfasts in the Bay Area! The omelets are my favorite, especially the one with bacon and avocado. Arrive hungry- portions are large!

A little out of the way but well worth the trip. Even on a Wednesday morning it was busy. Our party of six was greeted by Nini's grandson and taken to a table in the courtyard. All six of us enjoyed our breakfasts. Service was good, accurate, welcoming and prompt. Good sized portions and delicious

This place is great. Warm fuzzy feeling because the people are so nice, the food is like mom's home cooking and the portions are HUGE. Great little find in a residential area.

I came here with 3 other friends on a Sunday at 10:00 a.m. for brunch. We were told it was going to "just be a 30 to 40 minute wait," but we ended up waiting 90 minutes! during which I studied the menu in anticipation of Wally's "Country" Oldies of homemade home fries with ham, mushroom, tomatoes, two eggs, melted... very homey, menu is chock full of good stuff, noisy bar area, then a quiet, plant filled community area. down to earth comfortable, family place
