My fiancé and I had dinner at Mimi's on the way home from Yosemite. My fiancé had the salmon while I had the roasted turkey. The salmon was cooked perfect, no complaint from the fiancé. My roasted turkey was juicy and the mashed potatoes was well seasoned. My only complaint is the dressing had too much celery. Other than that... More

Food is average- actually quality of food has declined over the last 7 years. Used to be really quality food for brunch at fairly low prices. Service can be patchy, if you get the Asian servers you will get better service. The Mexican servers can be borderline rude at times. The hostess is usually poor.

My wife and I ordered Mimi's 'Bacon and Avocado' omelet at Mimi's in San Mateo, CA. What we got was a somewhat dry omelet with only two very thin strips of bacon crossed over the top. I had expected a lot of bacon and was very disappointed. The rest of the breakfast was nice and the waitress was very nice,... More

Not was the service no attentive,I checked my bank statement and someone added an additional $5 to $17 dinner. I always leave a cash tip for that reason so its easier to check for any discrepancies. Wish I could take back the $3 tip I left him.

We were looking for a nice lunch place while on the way to San Francisco and found this place near the San Mateo Bridge. Great soup and salad lunch and fried Artichokes as an appetizer, Highly recommend.

I'm normally a fan of Mimi's Cafe. But, I will NEVER go back to the San Mateo Mimi's. I get their eclub coupons online. I do not have a smart phone...but, I do have a phone with a camera. I was told by a Mimi's manager that I could always take a photo of the coupon and show the manager... More

This place has $5.00 Happy Hour Wines, but my favorites are Sparkling Wine Flights. I love the corn chowder soup. The menu has lots of different choices. It's big on the Cajun cooking. I like the variety for the whole family. Nice place to eat when your at the Bridgepoint Shopping Center. Good food. Easy parking, worth the trip

Enjoyed a great healthy lunch on the patio. Quick service. Miguel, our waiter was alert, fast, and friendly. All staff was courteous and polite. We both ate for $10 each and had more than enough. Soup and salad combo great deal.

We were disappointed that we could not get into nearby B.J.'s, which has an excellent reputation. But we were very pleasantly surprised at the excellent cuisine, superb service and value-priced menu at Mimi's Cafe, just next door to B.J.'s. In fact, we were delighted we came here because Mimi's is a quiet, casual place without the noise and crowds of... More

The food choices for vegetarians is limited to salads. I spoke with our waiter and he suggested a chicken pasta dish without the chicken but with extra veggies. It was a good choice and very tasty. The service for our table - party of 6 was slow. Nice ambiance. Over all, the dishes we ordered were quite good. Just be... More
