This restaurant is an excellent choice if you like good food, good service, and the ability to hear your table mates talking. If you don't want a full dinner, lighter fare is available in their pleasant bar area. The chef creates excellent meals with foods currently available from the market. An excellent wine list at reasonable prices complements the foods.... More

We had a large family dinner on a Friday night. We were warned that service could be slow so we opted for a prefixed menu to speed things up. Unfortunately we were still over three hours. Salad was nice, carrot soup very tasty and we had options of sea bass, steak, and risotto. Each course was smaller than the last,... More

+ Great meals, all prepared with care and tasty + Wide selection of beers + We've gotten a square table for 12 people, which enabled us to have a good conversation - Service was attentive but at times slow - Slightly pricey + Overall a very good experience, I'd come back again

The food and service were average to poor. Everything is a la carte so if you order meat it is literally just a piece of meat. Vegetable choices were potatoes or mushrooms. There was almost nothing vegetarian and virtually no salads. This is a definite miss.

Service was very good, attention to detail was very good, food was very tasty, just a bit pricey overall. Went with the Sampler (or whatever it's officially called), which is a 5-course meal for $95. Portions were relatively small, but each was great.

Went during the week for dinner. It was eerily empty with only one other couple in the dining room. The service was excellent and the meals were quite good. The bar and the bartender are terrific! I am worried that they may close, given the lack of customers. This would be too bad as there are so few fine dining... More

My husband I went here for our anniversary. We shared the 9 course tasting menu and loved it. It's definitely a "special occasion" restaurant since it's pricey. The service was great, staff friendly and the food was delicious. My only comment would be for the same price you could get quite a meal in San Francisco. There, you would have... More

We came here last week and were seated in the rather depressing back of the restaurant. The waiters were charming and I have no complaints about service. My complaint is that everything seemed to take an hour. We ordered three courses ($59) and each took about an hour to arrive. The food tasted fine but the portions were made for... More

I'm a cheapskate I'll admit, but when I want a special evening, this is the place I pick. The food and the service is above and beyond what you'll find at other restaurants.
