Good dinner spot for sea food and other children menu items.

Very reliable dinner restaurant in San Mateo serving a wide variety of sea food. I really like the Coney Island clamp chowder (red) and the loaves of sour dough bread that is brought to the table. Visitted for a late lunch Sunday. Had a problem with slow service. When a waitress noticed, she took care of us immediately. Lunch came out promptly. Fish and chips were lukewarm, crab Louis was stellar. When told about food temp, the waitress immediately compted the dish, apologized profusely, offered us replacement and or free desert, and returned with the manager.... More

Be careful what you order as this is a high volume restaurant and food preparation is so so. You are paying for the view which is by a river.

Great fish, always fresh. Nice view of the lagoon with pleasant service. The salads are tasty with crisp greens, the Caesar is especially good.

My wife and I always love eating at the Oyster Bar at the Fish market when we are in the mood for a casual but fun dinner out. Always meet someone new and love the food and service.. Noah is the best!

I have been in this restourant with some friends on my last business trip. The place is simple but nice, the fish is really fresh like in a fish market. The ratio quality/ price is really good being in San Mateo . Everybody was really pleased by the quality and even being used to eat fish in Italian Island (Sicily... More

I had the salt and pepper calamari and the mahi mahi sliders with fries. Both delicious and I was full. My wife had a spinach salad with the grilled halibut and loved both. She was full. Bill before tip including 2 ice teas was $66. We sat on back covered patio which is nicely shielded from wind with plex glass.... More
