There are two places in San Mateo widely known as the best ramen. One is Himawari, but recently Ramen Dojo has come up as a challenger. The seriousness of ramen in san mateo is evident by the long lines. This place is seriously good, as the local san mateo population is very knowledgeable about ramen.

We finally ate there after a long 40 minutes queue but it was worth it. The ramen was great and the size was big. Try the pork ramen with extra garlic. I will surely come back and bring my family there when we visit US again next time.
